I have been trying to love this game ever since it launched back in 2017. I wish I could say I love Star Wars, but I can confidently say I used to love it at least, and playing a Star Wars game brings back that feeling and makes me forget what Star Wars is as of today...

This is basically the only reason I come back to this game all the time only to realize I don't ever fully enjoy playing this game. If it wasn't a Star Wars game, I wouldn't have played more than a total of 10 minutes with it.

Cons:

-Navigating the terrain is a living nightmare, both as a Hero/Villain and basic classes. Sometimes, you roll and bump into a little rock and it sends you flying out of cover, or you just play as a saber wielding character and while blocking walking into a rock or any kind of elevated surface will interrupt your blocking. Wanna climb up the small boulder/hill to get a better view as a sniper? Forget it, as everything seems to be covered in oil! (everything is slippery as hell, and cannot be climbed unless the surface isn't bumpy)

-I'm surprised nobody seems to notice the terrible hit detection in this game. Many times you can notice how an enemy's shot actually hits you or vice versa, but won't do any damage.

-Rolling/dodging is OP and stupid. Jedi Master trained in the ways of the force? Too bad! I will just roll so the force won't affect me! Bomb with the power of a C4 right at my feet about to blow up? Oh good heavens lemme just roll so the explosion will only give me a scratch!

-Aimbotters and cheaters are still everywhere, and since the game doesn't have support anymore, I doubt this will be taken care of any time soon. Playing co-op with others against AI would be good, however...

-The AI in co-op is literally aim"bot"ting. They are stupidly accurate. Don't believe me? Try jumping around as Yoda, the smallest being in the game. Every shot will hit you, except for those you block (IF the game decides your block should work, as Yoda's block constantly breaks for no reason) This issue not does not only affect ground troops however, AI tanks can one shot you while they are facing the opposite direction from 100 meters, even if you are a hero with 700+ health! Wouldn't be much of a problem if the AI didn't have infinite battlepoints to spawn enemy heroes/villains and tanks constantly... AI is also immune to many abilities such as flashbangs and all forms of mind trick, and AI Maul for example can use multiple of his abilities at once, which is not possible for players without cheating.

Pros:

-Modding. The game has a very much alive modding community, however, modding the game is not the easiest, which is a shame.

-The game has taken a turn away from microtransactions in the very beginning due to controversy, which I believe had a huge impact on other games that came afterwards. I would also like to say that the devs really poured their hearts into the game, but the support died very early for the game so I cannot get myself to list that as a pro seperately.

-The game has insanely good performance AND graphics, something that is a very rare sight even by 2017 standards, especially from EA. Bascially they nailed everything that is cosmetic in this game, from sound to models/textures/effects.

IMPORTANT:
Currently there is an ongoing community project called Kyber 2.0, which promises in-game mod integration and many other neat features. I'm eager to try it out when it is ready, but that wouldn't change my mind about giving this game a positive review as is. Get it on a sale if you *really* like Star Wars.
