SCP Secret Laboratory at first seems like a simple free game where SCP fans can enjoy their time. The gamemode is simple and indeed addicting, it's surprinsingly so fun to be a new role each match and try your best to win, but the major problem with the game is just how "badly polished" it is in general.

The graphics are just horrible. Metal objects and walls seems to be made out of plastic rather than metal due how shiny and artificial they look. The character movement feels odd and unfinished, even jumping feels weird and clunky.
The guns feel beta versions of what they were supposed to be, with a horrible recoil and almost no animations.

And the problems don't stop there.

The biggest problem yet is the launcher of the game. It often crashes and to fix it you have to reset all the configurations, and that's if you're lucky, because sometimes(even though this is rare to happen), the game won't load at all and you'll have to reinstall the whole thing.

Even joining servers can be a pain, due how sometimes you can just get randomly kicked even if your internet shows no problems at all.

This is a great game with a wonderful, simple and fun gameplay idea, but the lack of seriousness from the developers to fix all these problems just ruins the experience for me.

However, even with all those problems, I recommend giving at least the game a try just due the fact it is free.
I hope the future brings fixes to these problems immediately.
