It's a side story of the Dorian Gray Syndrome, not as nice as Dorian Gray though. The Lonely Hearts is pretty much a comedy. I couldn't take it seriously, especially not that Jason officer (I think that was his name). And the detective wasn't trying to help in any way, he was pretending to be helpful. He should quit being a detective. The story and the characters didn't make sense to me, and the puzzles were meant for kids.

"I only grant wishes. The outcomes are none of my concern."
The little mermaid had to pay the price, and so does Iva. It's a story about two close siblings (perhaps even too close, I can't surely tell). You play the brother with torn up memories and your mission in this little game is to dig them up. Whether or not they're to your liking, you have to remember in order to progress. The puzzles aren't easy, you have to collect clues and combine them. There's a right amount of horror, I got flashbacks from "Mad Father" and "Ib".
It's a short little game with a good artwork. Worth to give it a play, imho.

"Who needs a womb to create life?"
I'm a fan of the classic Frankenstein and a sucker for point n' click games. This game, in fact, was indeed disappointing. I could feel it tried to be mysterious and twisted, but it's nothing but a wannabe in the end. You don't need to be born Sherlock in order to figure out the whole plot right from the beginning. The tiny text discouraged me from reading all the letters and I started skipping eventually. No puzzles or whatsoever, just follow the straight line and you'll be fine. Nice artwork, cyberpunk-ish.
Oh, you just had to kill the cat in order to get it out of your way? You must be twisted. You got a screw loose, you mongrel!

Better playing with a friend. The game is short, fast paced and action packed rollercoaster. The shaky camera wasn't a big deal, so I don't really understand the hate. The enemies aren't dumb, at least not to me. It's not one of the "easy-sleazy" short games that once you finish it, you don't look back. There are multiple ways to roast your enemies, eventually you'd want to go back and kill them again using a different strategy. And the censorship when you shoot someone's face off? Well, you can ignore it. The censorship is only for the "cool effect" since Kane & Lynch are captured on camera (hence the shaky camera).
Anyhow, grab your friend by the p u s s y and enjoy this short adventure together.

Pretty neat hidden object game. Even though the plot seemed like a cliche serial killer song it made me curious about the murderer. Why is he doing this? What was driving him mad? Should I join him?
Nice art and atmosphere, lovable killer and brilliant bonus art.

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?
Another peculiar visual novel I enjoyed my time playing. It's short, has a lot of choices, different endings and multiply ways to let the main character Alice die. Bodacious storytelling and writing, and remarkable atmosphere. This is truly an outstanding work of imagination. Apocalyptic Alice! What else does your heart want?

It's a short kinetic novel about a boy that only hears static noise in his head. He's not a fan of people, let's just say, even his own mother is like a stranger to him. Have you ever wanted to run away from everything and bury your head in the sand? Well, his hiding place is by the sea where the stress and the static noise don't get under his skin. He meets a girl that will change his way of thinking. She's the only one that actually talks with words and not static, the one that has a face and not just a silhouette. The only one that becomes truly dear to him when the time passes. Was she only a vision?
It's not a visual novel, because there's just one ending. The choices in this game don't play a single role. Still, don't let this fact disencourage you, it's worth to give it a read, especially that it's free.

It's a pretty short visual novel, but interesting. There are multiply choices in this game and a bunch of endings. I've been curious about interpenetrating dimensions and the idea of a possibility that everyone I know (including me) have their own clone. And if I ever get to meet one face to face, shall I trust him or be aware of anything he does or says? It's even more dangerous when other people are involved, like your loved ones. Either way, meeting your own clone is a life changing experience. For the best or for the worst. It's easy to lose yourself, to become someone you never wanted to be. Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going?

Good and simple game with relaxing music to get your brain cogs working again. Not so simple when you go further and further.

Brilliant point and click mystery game. It has puzzles, atmosphere, awesome plot and interesting characters. The main character is one of my favorites. She's sarcastic and has boobs. Following all the dead bodies left around, your mission is to capture the killer in order to prevent bloodshed in the small utopia town.
And for god's sake, whatever you do, don't, under any circumstances...play the sequel.
