Updating my review from negative to positive. The game is great, optimisation is still ♥♥♥♥. I played Ultra Wide and had no bugs so far.

Really difficult game but very good! Nice art style, nice gameplay and mechanics. Sounds are great. Its very early but I hope the devs never abandon it, it could end up really great and there's so much they could do with it. Looking forward to seeing the direction its headed.

Its a cash grab scam. The devs just focus on getting children to get their parents to buy them packs. Its pure greed. They won't and don't update anything in career mode or ♥♥♥♥ all else. They only update FUT. They update any part of the game that will give them more money. The gameplay is still ♥♥♥♥, still has scripts/momentum in. They script it to add excitement to the game. 0-5th min, 45th and then of course the 90th min goals. Obviously not in every match, but it is definitely in the game. You can feel it when the momentum is in your favour or your opponents. You can literally shoot from anywhere when its in your favour and your opponents goalkeeper and defence turn into amateur players. You know when your opponent has the script in their favour cos all your defenders seem to forget how to play football, the ball bounces back to your opponent no matter how many tackles you make, and he can literally walk through your defence and walk it into the net.

Its supposed to be next-gen but still looks like a xb1 or ps4 game. Just terrible graphics for a triple A title in 2022. The EA devs who make this game are some of the laziest and greediest devs I have ever seen.

Before any ♥♥♥♥ asks why I play it then... I've played every FIFA since 1995.I only play this cos I love football. EA has a monopoly on it. There is no other football games that are any good at all. And yes I play FUT, but I don't pay any money. PES used to be ok but now its a mobile game ported to PC lol. I loved FIFA 99, FIFA 2003, 2004, 2010, and after that its gone downhill since cos their sole focus is money.. The idea of FUT is great. In the beginning it was great being able to build your own team of players and play against others doing the same, but greed eventually took over it and now they bring out updated cards of the same players every week so the card you just got is now outdated and s#!t. I don't mind TOTW players but all the rest are just silly and are for one r£a$on only.

I hope EA turns it all around next year to prove a point that they're better without FIFA's licensing. They also won't be limited in what they want to do with the game. I won't hold my breath though, it'll probably be the same game yet again and they'll get features that existed in previous titles then got removed, and they'll bring them back as 'new features'.

They're just scumbags.

Easy to learn, difficult to master. Has a good amount of strategy and wide variety of cards and powers. Its a good game if you want to play something and don't have a lot of time as the matches are really short (under 5 mins)... Very impressed that it genuinely is a free-to-play game and that you don't need to pay to unlock anything. I would recommend getting it for mobile as well as PC.

Seeing people criticise the campaign is like they're talking about a different game than I played. I thought every bit of it was brilliant. The story, the voice acting, the length, all of it was great to me. Multiplayer reminds of the old MW2, which can't be a bad thing. Not a fan of the prestige system though and not being able to reset everything to start over. I like unlocking things so to never be able to unlock weapons and attachments again after you've already done them is a bit ♥♥♥♥.

All in all its well worth buying.

It's a good game and the gunplay feels very nice.

But it has more negatives than positives for me:

Every free game in existence is full of cheaters. This is no different. I don't know why they do free games, especially multiplayer. People cheat, get banned, create new account, do it again. If it has a price on it then cheaters won't be buying the game again and again.

Matchmaking is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and will match you against trios who are fully geared when you have nothing.

its just s#1t and I have nothing good to say about it tbh. I really can't think of a single positive thing to say. Extremely repetitive and extremely boring. I have no clue what this game has that gives it a 'very positive' score, its like they're all playing a different game to me. There is no sense of progression, upgrades are s#1t, there's like 5 different enemies and all the quests are s#itty fetchquests. Save your money.

Its clunky, repetitive, and tedious. The concept is brilliant but the execution is ♥♥♥♥.

If you don't like reading you'll hate it, but thats your loss. The developers have spent a hell of a lot of time on this game and it is well worth it. It is quite addictive once you get into the story., almost like a book that you can't put down. It sure is difficult being President. You can't please everyone.

Its basically banished with a reskin. Banished is ♥♥♥♥, and so is this.
