For those of you complaining of bad download times, if you don't have slow internet, make sure you are installed on a SSD and not a HDD.

This game is great, do not be turned away by the negative reviewers. Do you really think they would spend 300 hours in a game that they didn't like? As we all know, this game had a rather rocky launch, but all is well now and after the many fixes from a very dedicated team this game is excellent. I was somewhat skeptical before buying this game but after I played it all doubts were gone.

I will say, the Siege AI still could use work, but then, it has never been one of the strong points of TW games. When I played the Siege of Carthage, the AI acted in a manner that was very similar to Rome: Total War.

To sum it up, I highly recommend this game IF you have a decently powerful computer. I play it on a computer with an Intel Core i5 4310 3.1 ghz, a GTX 760 2gb, and 8gb of RAM. The game runs flawlessly on Ultra settings (not extreme) and only slows during massive battles (in the 30,000 unit range). You don't need something quite so powerful to play it, but if you want the graphics, that is what you need.

So once again, YES, I recommend this game!
