Fantastic game supported by great developers. Fairly unoptimized on weaker/older systems (Had trouble maintaining 60 fps on my GTX 760 on Low but can run 60+ on my RX 480 on High-Ultra). Updates come in the form of free content + fairly priced DLC. Recommended to get with friends as running with bots on Hard/Nightmare can be fairly arduous and it's a co-op game through and through.

On "L4D clone": It's clear there is some basis to it as a "horde based kill fest" but it does enough to where it's justified as its own game. Easy to get into melee with a high skill ceiling (with a more heavy focus towards melee than L4D), RNG loot, contracts and such improve the replayability and separate Vermintide as its own game from other L4D clones and L4D itself.
