The server problem is mostly fixed, you still have to wait a good 3 minutes but not nearly as bad as never connecting, the new skill system is a bit bland acting more like perk decks in payday 2 but that's the entire thing, graphics are good, gun play is good, feels like bullets don't do enough damage though, especially when you've shot a normal enemy on normal mode 6 times in the head with an automatic rifle and they still haven't dropped, but overall pretty fun.
