DICE's kneejerk reaction to 2042's criticism of having too open and large maps is to condense them to the point they play like COD ground war. Even their larger maps leave very little room for air vehicles and the overall design of the capture points seems like it had very little thought put into it. If they fix the maps or continue to add old Battlefield maps, it'll be fine.
