An absolutely avid game concept, and done to perfection.
I have no interest in real sports whatsoever, but this game compels me so much, and I love it.
I even watch the livestreams of ESports and RLCS, because it's a "sport" I enjoy.

This game takes a long time to get used to, its easy to get basic stuff down, but to really get good at the game, you're going to be well over 100 hours before then, I know this from personal experience of a friend I play with, and I myself (Currently at 47 hours at the time of writing this review) am still learning, though I've gotten semi decent at the game.

If you like soccer and cars, I recommend this game.
If you like hockey and cars, I recommend this game.
If you like basketball and cars, I recommend this game.
If you like absolutely insanity, I recommend this game for 4v4 mode and Rumble.

This could also possibly be my favorite, other than Borderlands 2. Funny story about me and Borderlands, despite it being my favorite game series. I played them backwards.

I played this first, then I played 2, then I played the original. But I love all three games, this one holds a special place in my heart though.

A lot of people love to give this one crap for certain features that I find nice and freshen the experience a bit (Oxygen Bubbles) and it can also make the game a bit more challenging in some aspects.

The main game was great, and the Claptastic Voyage DLC is absolutely amazing.
Even if you don't love Claptrap, you need to play that DLC, it is absolutely great.
And despite the fact all the others are negatively reviewed, I'm going to play through those DLCs too when I get the money, because I absolutely love this series and want to experience absolutely everything it has to offer.

I highly recommend this game, despite what is currently going on with TakeTwo Interactive, but I do highly recommend against Grand Theft Auto V.

Possibly my favorite of the Borderlands series, which is my favorite Game Series of all timem.
This one starts a bit slower than the others (in my opinion) but becomes far more action packed than either of the others, and quite intense and the story, not just the jokes, compel you into the story even further than the other two.

I found myself playing this game to completion, playing for 9 hours straight. Something I've never done with any game.

I will play through the DLC when I get the chance.

BL is amazing, and a charm to play with a friend or friends.

This is a re-review, as last time I reviewed this game, there was some considerable negative bias, due to the TakeTwo situation.

Now, my opinion on TakeTwo, it remains, I do not like them at all, and never will unless they change some of their business practices (Doubtful.)

But the game is back to being moddable, and is just as enjoyable as ever. I never finished the story of this game, but that's what I'm working on doing at the time of this review.

Online is fun, but can be absolute hell at times, and sometimes downright NOT fun, despite it being fun normally.
You will often (still, even after 4 years now) run into modders and hackers who think they are god's gift to earth, God modding and killing you while permanently ghosted, and then mock you for having the audacity to call them out.

I recommend Grand Theft Auto V.
I sort of recommend GTA Online.
