I don't want to say "aimed at kids", but it's definitely family friendly. I am most reminded of the Fable games, especially with the narrator, and I absolutely love that.

It doesn't take itself seriously, I don't find the combat "easy", but then again I don't play many games like this.

If you want a super stylish, funny and entertaining exploration game with combat then Biomutant is for you.
