~Eve Online: The Meatgrinder Simulator~

Eve Online is notioursly hard for new comers. In an era where Cuphead and Dark Souls are generally enjoyed by some sadistic machoists, this game rips out almost all chances of single-player enjoyment and forces you to play with others in order to get some real enjoyment. The learning curve, is more akin to learning to conduct brain surgery for fun. It'll take years before you're truly successful, but chances are you're gonna mess up, and mess up a lot. Considering that the more time you sink into the game, the better you get, the longer you allow this game to pass you, the harder it will become, as other players become more skillfull, and powerful. Albiet, everything in the game comes down to who is behind the computer screen. There are many microtransactions in the game, some even allowing your character to "level up" faster, but unless you know what you are doing, you're not going to get any more successfull. This game is for Edison or Tesla level players. Either you learn by trial and error *Edison* or study your ass off to get some enjoyment out of it *Tesla.*

Either way, this game demands patience and time. However, it is a huge payoff. This game can definitely have a lot of fun for those who like intense fights, and love strategy. As this game requires a lot of intelligence to truly enjoy. The pay off of accomplishing here is nothing that can be found anywhere else. The gigantic space fights, and losing it all, only to gain somewhere else is the enjoyment in the game. The spaceships in the game are also very cool, and I love collecting and looking at the pretty models.

However, this game is a huge time sink. If you're looking for a gem that requires a lot of TLC, this is gonna be the peanut to your butter. This game will suck up your life, look at my hours played. That's only the hours logged since I started playing through Steam in Febuary of 2016. I still feel like I don't know anything about this game, and still lose 90% of my engagements against other players. Nontheless, I still have a blast getting blasted to bits.

Thankfully, CCP is releasing an update this summer that is more oriented towards single players via "instanced dungeons." Which I hope will breath some new life to the game.

Also, this game has an amazing Economy. I find myself spending more time in Jita, buying and selling as I have made billions more isk (ingame currency) buying low and selling high, manufactuiring ammo, ships and modules than I have ever done playing this game on and off for the last 8 years.

I suggest everyone gives it a try at least once. Definitely isn't for everyone unless you approach it with the right mentality and expectations. If anything, look at how beautiful this game is.

TLDR:

Good:
Economy
Diffuclty
MMO
RPG
HUUUUUUUUGE
Lots of ships
Best PvP game of all time

Bad:
Difficult to get started
unforgiving
time consuming

I remember this game I played it for a few years. I always loved it. started back in 2003 I skilled up over 75 million skill points. was involved with the stain war and help deliver resorses to the very first player station. even owned a pos. it was fun times. we used to go into 0.0 space without the fear of being ganked. oh so much has changed in 15 years. I loved flying in my capital ship. oh how time flys.

Machoist? Did you mean "masochist"?
