From a WT player, the grind is different but seems like it will take the same time to go from the lower their to upper tiers. the events here are far better with twitch drops that can actually help you grind to monthly free stuff. When playing battleships it doesnt really feel like you are doing anything sometimes since it takes volley after volley to kill an enemy BB with 27s reload times, but the increased speed from destroyers and the satsifaction of getting a torpedo hit are what make me smile.

What annoys me are suicidal teammates that pull a full 180 turn around to run into your torpedos.
I think I got more freindly kill penalties in ten hours of this game than a hundred of WT.

In the end though if your looking for pay to win items you can choose this game, as the grind can be mitigated with the free boosters

Warthunder is basically pay to play in comparison with a soft cap on research at rank 5 tanks and nonexistent progress on naval and helicopters

It's been 3 years since full multiplayer was promised and delayed. Bought it on that promise.... I've never touched the game since.
