Love & Legends is a fantasy romance visual novel (otome game) from Voltage Inc's Lovestruck series. It was originally a mobile app that shut down, and the Steam version (Released April 1, 2026) bundles the complete main stories through Season 5 for all routes, no ticket/waiting system.

You play as a modern Woman struck by lightning and transported to a medieval fantasy world. Accused of being the reincarnation of the "Evil Witch Queen," you must choose one of 7 heroes as your protector/warden while unraveling mysteries, facing danger, and pursuing romance.

It's choice based, with beautiful character art, immersive world building involving swords, sorcery, political intrigue, and romance. The Steam port adds big screen optimization, rewind/save/load features, and costs $29.99. It includes mature romantic content (suggestive scenes, fade-to-black intimacy, revealing outfits) but no explicit sex.

I love the strong fantasy romance focus in this game. Each love interest has deep, route specific storylines and truly unique personalities. Fans often praise routes like Saerys the demon with incredibly strong relationship growth, along with Reiner, Helena, and Iseul for their emotional depth, big lore reveals, and how beautifully the romance develops across the seasons. With multiple seasons, there’s a huge amount of content per route, adding up to hundreds of thousands of words in total.

The world and narrative feel incredibly immersive. It’s a classic swords and sorcery setting filled with adventure, mystery about why I was summoned, war, shifting alliances, and morally complex choices. I find it really engaging and highly replayable because every route gives me a different perspective on the story.

The romance options are wonderfully eclectic, offering male and female routes with great LGB love interests. Knights, elves, demons, sorceresses, the cast has it all. I really appreciate the beautiful character designs and the detailed, individual backstories for each love interest.

Best of all, there are no microtransactions. Unlike the original mobile app, this is a complete premium package. I get all the main stories up to Season 5 in one single purchase, no waiting and no extra spending required.

Overall, it’s pure comfort food for otome/visual novel fans like me. I’ve been with Lovestruck since it first launched on mobile back in 2017, I read every single story and romanced every love interest they released. Love & Legends delivers heartfelt romance, plenty of melodrama, and that perfect fantasy escapism. Whether you’re new to the series or returning for some nostalgia, it’s a wonderful entry point. Some routes honestly feel amazing from start to finish. I usually don’t spend $30 on visual novels on Steam (and these often go on sale), but back when Lovestruck was still active, I ended up spending way more than that on tickets and hearts.

So far, only three Lovestruck stories are available on Steam, and I already own all of them. Astoria: Fate's Kiss, Gangsters in Love, and this one. I really hope they bring over more of their titles.

Cons
Right now we only have up to Season 5 (originals went to Season 9, Alain had 5). Will we ever get the complete stories for the remaining seasons? Are they planned as future DLC?

Minor Con
The main menu looks quite bare. It features the Love & Legends background that I really love, but there are no characters, only the static background.
