I thought I'd rewrite this review as it was very old and kind of terrible.
BioShock 2 still manages to be my favorite BioShock game AND overall favorite shooter of all time.. but there was so much denial towards this game's existence.. why?
Well as we know, BioShock is supposed to be filled with plot-twists and mind bending story.. that's it.. that's what most people didn't like about BioShock 2, as it's a much simpler "Search and Rescue" storyline set in Rapture.
But.. I freaking liked this story! anyways... here's some of my personal views on this and its improvements AND sligthly worse parts!

Actual Pros/Cons compared to ORIGINAL BioShock.

+ Extreme improvements on combat!
+ Much nicer level design.. which is done by Arkane!
+ Simpler Story (This is also placed in the negatives, but I liked this very much, as I'm much more focused on my goal!)
+ "Gathering" Adam is a lot more fun now! (Because you now actually have to gather it, not just take it.. or well your little sister will!)
+ A lot more endings! (BioShock only had 2, which wasn't all that good. These endings are changed depending on neutral NPC's killed and Little Sisters harvested or rescued!)
+ Vastly improved research camera!
+ More enemy variety giving more purpose to everything around you.
+ Subject Delta 10/10 m9.. dank and much cool.. also kappa.. (or whatever)
+ Replay value is high!

- Simpler Story (Negative for most of those who expected a crazy mindfack story.)
- Extremely buggy and crashes often on DirectX10 (So set it to DX9 instead)
- Audio bugs was never fixed here either.. so that's the same as BioShock.
- No Backtracking to earlier levels like in BioShock.. (but the levels are pretty darn big and open!)

MAKE SURE TO! check out BioShock 2 Minerva's Den! ;) (And yes.. that dlc caused some big bugs to this one)
