Early Access Review
I got this game by the cool developer.

But that doesn't change the fact that I love this game..

Currently it's hard to answer if you should buy it or not, personally I would say go for it, if you like small survival games.
But just wait, there's a giant patch incoming soon! (but yea go buy it now and see if you like it, if not? just go read some in-game books and get the achievements while waiting for the big updates! ;) )

Amazing piece of DLC.

Did you like Daud in Dishonored? might be curious about some of his backstory? Well here it is, go get this one. (I suggest going with Non-Lethal!)

It's extremely short for normal combat, so only if you're into the story then I'd suggest getting this one!

REVIEW is for the G27 support, not the game itself entirely, which would be rated as really good if they didn't go lazy mode, and went for the Official FS15 Steering wheel instead of adding support.

Overall good game, BUT!

The widely used G27.. is not supported, what the actual.. fffffuark, how did they not think about adding support for it?! ETS did, ETS2 did, most driving sims supports it.. while this does not.. I have trouble driving precisely, because I had to disable force feedback by disabling the power to the wheel, but this leads to other bigger issues, which you should be able to figure out what that is,

Also the game feels.... very, hmm, dead, I don't know how to explain that.. it just.. you know, does.

But the overall farming aspect is really well done, the programmers did an excellent job with the tile destruction.

Recommended for users with other wheels than the G27.

First of all, thank you Pixel Prophecy! (You know what you did for me!)

Even because of that, I'm going to be as honest as i possibly can get.

First of all, it's minesweeper, but with power-ups and health, and freaking music! how could you possibly go wrong?
well the answer is.. you can't go wrong.
It's easier than minesweeper, i learned this faster than i did with the original one for windows 98, mostly cause of the design and the health and pickups, but just remember, you gotta be patient with games in order to enjoy this, even with the slick design and sound design! which sounds very much like a 90's game ost., like jazz jackrabbit!
but just think of Minesweeper but a bit easier, with powerups, leaderboards, and music, and a menu.

That's what you get if you pay some of those money you would spend on candy and soda, is it worth it? well you will get some hours out of this compared to a soda that last for 10 minutes. so, if you enjoy games where you have to think a little.. buy it.

100% approved, it's actually very original, think about it for a minute.

Now I've played enough, yea this is not worth the price.

Too many simple elements to call it worth the 9$ mark.
It didn't feel fun after 2 hours of gameplay. (which it should for the asking price)

Just the intro was enough to tell me this game is going to be awesome!

Whow!

Well, it's The New Order, with new guns, and a new story, so if you enjoyed the first one (just for its gameplay, then you're going to love this!)

No i have not only used it for 7 hours (I've now used it for 9,5 thousand hours since the first time I wrote this xD ), I've made at least a hundred games with this (most i just throw away, but i still make them, cause it's freaking fun) but i saw i had a steam key for the professional edition, and it uses workshop as well, so why not right?

Alright, so GameMaker has stuff for the beginner, experienced, and the professional.

Drag & Drop - Simple blocks that allows for creating a variable (Health and ammo, just some simple ones there, but it's used in a millions of other things) Directions, paths, solid checking, saving, loading. all the stuff you need to get started pretty much. and of course the most important one Execute Code.
This is of course where you do all the advanced coding (which in some cases is much easier than the Drag & Drop functions.

For example: Inventories is much easier to make in code even though it is possible in D&D, Rotating an object takes just 3-4 seconds to write out depending on your typing speed of course ;)

Now a lot of people get put of when they ask me what i made my game in and i answer GameMaker, so instead just say GML.. but this is because people hear the name GameMaker and they all think it's something for kids, and it is, it most definitely is, because you can go easy mode here, but mostly very simple games like Tetris and block breaking games.
but it's something very experienced users can also use, I've seen so many amazing things made with this, HD 3D Games, massive world builders, RPG games, it's all possible as long as you can work with the very limited built-in 3d capabilities, or just download some extensions to make it a bit easier on yourself, and earlier i said i scrapped most of my games, and that's because you get tons of ideas when you learn this program, you work on the idea, but all the sudden you get a new idea while working on it, or you get a developer block, or maybe you're learning new things as you go along, either you're learning about how to make inventories, or healthbars, but these things might not fit into the game you're currently working on, and it hits you, that the game you're working on is actually dull and boring, so you get started on a new project once again, and then you learn something new, and all over, but this might actually be a good thing, cause you're learning something new until you have all you need for the game you have always wanted to create, and at some point you have acquired so much knowledge, that you will be ready for the step up to Unreal Engine, C++, C# or something else like Unity, or maybe you decide to make extensions and sell them on the GameMaker:Marketplace.

So 80 dollars for the professional edition might not sound too mad, you might actually end up making your dream game from this software or another, and make a huge profit, who knows, but i believe this is an amazing first place to start, so try it out, i would recommend going to the official YoYo Games website and download the standard edition from there as it does not have any resource limitations compared to this one.

Happy Programming :)

Early Access Review
7 years later.. Still in Early Access? Holy hell, what??!
Now going on what.. 8-9?! My god.. this is intense.

This is an early access, so i always expect these games to be a money grab and then they leave, but i wanted to check this one out.

Nice lighting for an Alpha game!
Nice chunk system.
Fully re-bindable controls (in an early access? yea right) no joke!
Nice amount of settings (would of course love to see more settings)

Of course it has its fair share of glitches and bugs, but it's an early access.

I'm not gonna give it any cons here, it's an alpha...
