I have been a lifelong fan of Paradox games for as long as I have beenplaying video games. Paradox has struggled with some titles such as Imperator, but with Crusader Kings 3 they've hit it out of the park. Just about every mechanic I enjoyed from Crusader Kings 2 has been reworked or fleshed out, or reimagined and to me they've come out wonderfully.

I'm 200 hours in at this point and I'm still working on mastering some of the mechanics, exploring different aspects of the game, and ironing down my long term strategies.

Though the game isn't without its share of bugs and unintended features, the developers have been working dilligently to correct them, introduce features missing that were present in Ck2, and correct what mistakes they've made.

If you enjoy Grand Strategy games, and especially if you enjoyed Crusader Kings 2 (I think I have something like 2000 hours in that game), then you will certainly enjoy the latest iteration.
