This game is the Satanic Panic game parents thought their kids were playing in the 80's!

MAKE SURE TO READ THE NOTES. Some of these stories are downright horrifying. The rotoscoping effects are top notch paired with animations that are genuinely creepy. Chapter 1 builds while chapter 2 and 3 absolutely run with the story. Its so dang good.

I played this in 1 night with my best friend, whos review you might have seen, and we were blown away.

I played chapter 1 and 2 on itch.io years ago and have been waiting on part 3 to drop since then. The quality of life improvements alone are worth the recommendation if you have played the first 2.

I love horror games, and FAITH has easily taken over #1 spot. The animations, story, feel, music, and general presentation are some of the absolute best ive seen. It leaves you to your imagination, sitting in a dark room in silence, anxious at what is next. Something VERY few games can say they did.

Masterclass is amazing game design and story.

Games great, refunded because it wasnt my thing. Otherwise the game yanks pretty hard and Im sure most people would love it. StS + Into the Breach is a perfect description.

Classic game that I have played 1000s of hours in prior to the release on steam. Shout out to Re-Volt io for all the community packs and keeping this game cruising for so long.

Now this version has workshop support and I couldnt be happier. Amazingly fun game if you havent played it and a hell of a time with friends. 10/10 would recommend.

Ive basically 100% the game across 3 PC's. Its great fun. once you figure out the items it becomes a little easy even on the insane hardness difficulties. Playing CR-8 is pretty much a guaranteed win if you get certain items.

Its great fun. You can get 60+ hours out of it if you really push youself. But its a great time waster to have and play when bored. I use Slay the Spire and this as my "kill 30 mins to an hour" games and its wonderful for that!

EDIT: LINUX USERS! If you are having an issue after the latest few updates where the game seems to crash around a minute or so into swinging around the city/doing really anything, then REINSTALL YOUR GAME. This fixed it for me and a few friends. Seems something shat the bed with the newest updates that caused the game to not function quite right. After reinstall the game works flawlessly again!

Runs flawlessly on Garuda Linux. Absolutely one of the best games I have played in years. Straight up crack.

Sony, if you see this, please for the love of god port Bloodborne! <3

Insomniac... You guys are on a whole new level. Thank you for the insanely amazing game!

It certainly claps the cheeks.

Few things:

- Playing the game does nothing. What i mean by this is playing the game doesnt directly add to your battlepass or other things. You have to complete certain tasks to level up your battle pass. A lot of them are "Log in for X days" so it limits you on purpose.

- Tasks that are listed are outright lies. "Get Agent Smith 2 Weeks Early!" It is impossible to do at this moment. The events are time-gated and difficulties spike drastically with more ways to buy lives if you die. more on that at the end.

- Lots of options are missing for no reason. Like the ability to swap Tilt attacks and Smash attacks. Also the option to disable picking up items when attacking is gone as well. Keep this in mind if this is crucial for you!

- They removed ranked for some reason. You will get anywhere between "can barely use a controller" to literally the best player in the world back to back. No actual rank knowing where you are at.

- The game has tightened up a lot for a floaty fighter. I feel like you have much more consistent controls than in the beta. The game is slower by LEAGES however and it does not balance out. Needs to be sped up a and it would be perfect.

- You cannot play the characters in 1v1 or in training. You must unlock them to try them which is insane.

- Works flawlessly on linux. No issues here at all. No crashing, no freezing, no lag, nothing. The only issue i have is playing with Windows users who seem to crash all the time. Network disconnects do happen but its rare for me so i will give them that.

- The PREMIUM CURRECY, actually named PREMIUM, is cancer. I had 40K points, cant even get a skin ffs. Just another corporate cancer maneuver. People who saved their gold for characters got absolutely boned. I saved my tickets but this is still huge BS for everyone.

FINAL THOTS:

Games mid-fun. The main issue I have is not allowing us to keep any of the skins we had during beta. I had to rebuy the Hollywood Bugs after already getting it back when the beta launched. VERY irritating. If i didn't already have some Gleam leftover and they didnt do that stream they put on to get Gleamium (and matrix banana guard skin) I would be even more pissed.

I play this with friends online, so a lot of these big issues arent a huge deal to me. That said, this is kind of insane what WB was able to do. Took a good game and sent it to MTX hell. I originally had a positive review until i found out about the rifts and absolute cancer that is the MTX. Later difficulties you have limited lives on impossible bots. If you die you have to buy more gleamium to continue. They do every single thing in their power to get you to buy things by force.

The game is fun, but I was planning on dropping a lot more money than i already have on this game. No more. I will also just not buy WB games ever again. They can go on the list with EA, Blizzard and the rest.
