Final Fantasy VI is a masterpiece. Where FFV was goofy and didn't take itself very seriously, FFVI is a sprawling epic with the most playable characters across the entire mainline series. Everything is refined and perfected in this entry.

The story is quite good, by far the best up until its time. I love all the characters and their journeys, even if some characters have a lot less to do than others... Umaro but in the end I was left satisfied and knew most characters quite well.

The magicite system is in my opinion better than FFVII's materia system but worse than the jobs in FFV. I dunno, something about the changing outfits just makes me love FFV's jobs. That's not to say magicite is bad though, I absolutely love it. Sure, you don't get many at the start but later in the game the options are endless and you can build characters however you like.

As a remaster this game is also very good. Everything is a bit brighter than I would have liked, but that can be fixed with numerous mods. Speaking of mods, there are lots. I personally use the Moogles and Mods discord for finding mine. However, mods are by no means essential and you can easily enjoy this amazing game without any at all.

Between all the 2D Pixel Final Fantasy games this one blows them all out of the water. Please, please play this if you have even a passing interest in RPGs. You will not regret it.

This game is as buggy as the reviews say. I got it assuming that all bugs or at least most would be ironed out, but most of the ones I've heard of still exist and it's rather distracting. This remaster needed more time in the oven.

I feel like this game could use a lot more horror. Lucky for me, everyone is playing Sadako and scaring the hell out of me.

Survivor and Killer are both pretty cool and I love the Ring movie so I'm happy to see them here for that as well. Overall a pretty good chapter I think. No map unfortunately but what's new I guess.

Very similar to Rake from a few years back, just much more polished. Can't wait to play the rest of the maps when the full game comes out.

As a side-note, I think this game is priced far too high. Especially for an early access title. I've tried convincing multiple friends to play with me but the price is too steep for them. My opinion is that it should be lowered to the $10-15 range but hey I'm just an idiot so whatever.

I think this is the most anime Resident Evil game.

Anyways, it is fun. The story is super weird and I love it. The facial animations everyone is making are priceless. I like the setting of a boat on the water, and another game with Jill in it is always nice.

FOUR! There are four this time! Four whole images you could get online and FIVE audio tracks that are already available in the game. For those who don't know, the FF6 Pixel Remaster was delayed for a few months and so they added extra images and songs. Still not very good though.

A huge leap forward for the series. Everything from Tomb Raider 2013 is either accounted for or improved upon to offer a deeper more engaging experience.

Graphics are also much better and the game is gorgeous to look at. The story on the other hand is kinda meh. The big plot twist is obvious immediately, and it only serves to push you from one explorable area to the next. It's totally serviceable but nothing to write home about.

I have high hopes for the series and I hope that Shadow of the Tomb Raider is even better.

Its been years since I've played Life is Strange, but from what I remember, this game is a huge improvement. Choices feel more consequential most of the time and the narrative was a whole lot better at least in my opinion. I like Sean as a protagonist, and Daniel is surprisingly fine. Usually kids in games get on my nerves but he's up there with Clementine and Ellie for perfectly fine companion characters.

I would have enjoyed more player input. I know this is hard to do and every choice based game has this same issue, but still its a bit disappointing that I can't get a different episode ending no matter what.

Story is depressing as Life is Strange usually is, but I don't regret playing it. It's sad but not without reason. This is a good story in this game that I think most people will enjoy.

Final Fantasy V is a complete joy to play. Out of all of the classic Final Fantasy games, this is by far my favorite. The job system is back and much more refined than it was in Final Fantasy III. No longer do you need to switch to an all mage party, or make sure you have four dragoons. Instead, FFV allows complete freedom with its jobs. You can be whatever you want whenever you want.

The story is fine, much better than FFIV, at least in my opinion. Its more lighthearted and less of a snooze fest than the previous game. I'm actually a little bit invested in this narrative. Its a fun game all around with the goofy story and the really amazing jobs, this game rocks.

Very short, under an hour, but ultimately worth your time. I only played so that I could link my save up to Life is Strange 2 but the story was enough to keep me interested. Weird performance issues inside the Dad's room that don't appear anywhere in LIS 2.
