Two images you could get online and three audio tracks that are already available in the game. Not really anything special here.

For anyone wondering how to access it, go to your game directory and open the extras folder.

This is easily the best of the pixel remasters, at least for everyone outside of Japan. After having played this I do not think I could ever return to the DS remake also available on Steam.

Final Fantasy III is one of my favorite FFs, and now that we have it in far superior 2D graphics, I love it even more. The job system is tons of fun, and the game actually presents a bit of a challenge. The story is fairly basic but honestly its completely passable.

With the technical issues fixed, this is in my opinion a must have for any fan of the DS remake, or just anyone who enjoys a good Final Fantasy. I would liken it most to FFV, so if you're a fan of that you most likely will like this also. Overall, a great remake and its awesome to see FFIII in a different view.

While yes, in my opinion this is the best version of Final Fantasy II, I cannot recommend this game still. I know that this game has its fans, and I'm happy people can find it enjoyable, but during none of my playthroughs have I ever enjoyed playing Final Fantasy II. The levelling system is good in theory but in my experience it leads to you always being way overpowered and the game has no challenge to its name.

The story is admirable for the time, but now it is just boring. Mayhap this opinion stems from my overexposure through playing the game multiple times, but it is something that keeps me from enjoying the game so I shall still put it here.

I will praise the updated graphics, and general mechanics of this remake, but they do not fix the fundamental issues for me. Best version by far in my opinion, even over the PSP remake. Although, the pixel remasters for the first six final fantasy games are missing bonus content added in later rereleases, so do not expect to spend a lifetime getting ultima weapons for all the characters here! (thank god)

Overall, good remake, if you enjoy Final Fantasy II, definitely grab this. However, if you didn't like the mechanics before, this remake will not fix that for you, and you should not buy it.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster is my definitive version of Final Fantasy. Having played Final Fantasy I many times, over many versions, this remaster is what I feel comes closest to capturing the original essence of Final Fantasy. From the simplistic but beautiful pixel art, to the incredible soundtrack which was remade in its entirety by the famous Nobuo Uematsu, everything here fits perfectly. At least, for me.

There are some technical issues however. Screen tearing is everywhere, and I had to use a third party software to fix it. The font is really ugly, so I opted to mod in Final Fantasy VI's pixel font in its place. Lastly, you need to go into the options to fullscreen your game every time because it does not save your configuration. This is a small issue but an issue nonetheless.

Overall, if you can look past the technical flaws, I believe this to be by far the superior Final Fantasy experience. Even when compared with more visually appealing takes such as the PSP remake.

Edit
There has been an update which solves various technical issues within the game. It is also said that there will be more updates in the future.

Alan Wake is not a very fun game. The levels get mind numbing and there is next to no variety in gameplay. What I do love though, is the story. It's really great and all the characters are fun and believable. Honestly I would recommend this game solely for the story alone. If you can't handle a lot of repetition in gameplay though, maybe this isn't for you.

After playing the original I can safely say this game sucks. So much of what made Resident Evil 3: Nemesis great is gone. They really butchered this game and it's sad to see. I wouldn't be opposed to a director's cut or Re-Remake, the original game really deserves it. As is, this is more of a Demake than anything.

Early Access Review
Phasmophobia is very fun and pretty scary. For the first few hours everything is unknown and terrifying, but as you get more and more accustomed to the game and get to know the tells of when you're safe or not things start to get repetitive. Definitely worth a buy, as it's one of the scarier games I played in 2020.

This review is for the Steam/IOS/Android port of Final Fantasy VI.
I harbour no ill will towards the original game, in fact, it is one of my favorites. Do yourself a favour and go play the SNES original. You won't regret it.

This port is horrendous. Even with the 'A World Reborn' https://www.moddb.com/mods/final-fantasy-vi-a-world-reborn mod. No offence towards the mod, but this version is, in my opinion, unsalvageable.

Everything is blurry, the character sprites are all pregnant, there's a weird delay before you are allowed to move, the battle UI is at best confusing, and it doesn't use the original translation (This isn't a flaw, I just prefer the original.) I made it roughly 7 hours into a playthrough before I had to quite and move over to the SNES version. Everything about this port is wrong, and I just can't stand playing it. The best way I can describe it is as an amateur RPG Maker game.

Do not buy this version. Or do, and emulate the original guilt free. A World Reborn helps, and is a great mod, but when you're working with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port some things simply can't be worked around.

8/10 - Too much water.

Game-play is the focus here with the job system. Final Fantasy III was the first to introduce it and it works very well. You can change jobs on the fly, though you must level them up. Add that to your characters base level and that adds up to quite a lot of grinding, Especially at end game. Do not attempt the final boss without being at least level 60. For reference you get there around level 45~50.

When you aren't grinding for hours you'll be taking part in this games story. This game is a huge step up in storytelling and world-building from FF2. Instead of being mute Warriors of Light, or stale cardboard cutouts that speak beaver, you get to play as four named heroes. They're relatively boring but coming the first two Final Fantasies, anything is welcome.

You do need to keep in mind that FF3, though being remade for the DS, is an NES game at heart. That means that the story can't be all too involved. Despite that it's enjoyable where it is. Characters are named, and most of them have discernible traits. The world has a history, to an extent, and you can take the time to read up the lore if you so choose. Cliches are abound, and the twist villain is lame but for the most part this is a completely serviceable plot.

TL;DR: Final Fantasy III is a good experience overall. The game-play and job system is great if you're a fan of turn-based combat. however, the story is light and is not in depth enough to be moving to any capacity. Don't make playing this game a priority. It's good, but nothing too special.
