Very cute, short horror game.
I really enjoy the style.

SPOILER

However, I wish there was more to happen, or an actual threat.
I hope to keep taps on this dev to see what they have in store for the future.

Good work!

Absolutely amazing game. Definitely worth your time, and is a lot of laughs if you have some pals who want to mess around!

I can't wait to see what the future of the game holds!

Personally feel this is quite a fun game. I like messing with the combination of spells, and the voxel world. I wish there was multiplayer.

Tried to make my own avatar for use. Didn't work. Reach out to the company for help. One response was that they didn't forget about me. They've ghosted me.

Asked Steam for a refund, and denied because I waited too long, because I reached out for help.

Not worth the money.

I've had more time to play this, and I still enjoy parts. But it feels like for every part I enjoy, there's two things that come by to slap me in the face.

My friends and I purchased Forsaken, expecting Exotic quests, and more to do on our own and with the 4 of us. We got a dungeon, and we don't have enough people for the Raid. So it feels like we haven't gotten the value of what we paid for.

For me, purchasing this expansion was a trial to see if getting the expansions could be worth it. Now, even though there was a decent experience in Forsaken's Dungeon, the main story felt really grindy. The cut scenes were fine, but I just have no clue what was going on in the storyline, still.

There's no real good explanation on what's going on.

Additionally; there's also Stasis. In PvP, if it's there, you bet that you're going to get wrecked by it pretty often. It seems incredibly overpowered and is just not fun to play against. The regular light classes just get outclasses by Stasis.

I can not support this sort of thing where they make a new thing overpowered just to try to sell it.

If Stasis felt balanced to play against then it would be different. In this game there are ultimate abilities, and Stasis' is fine. The ULTIMATE abilities are meant to be over powered and one shots, etc.

My problem comes from the supplimentary things. Like a grenade that seems to track someone, freeze them, and then go off again and track someone else to freeze them, etc. Walls, that if you touch you get frozen. As a warlock, I could get grenades that track someone and explode, and they die. But my grenade won't spawn a new grnade once killing someone and having that track someone else, etc.

Being frozen is terrible, if I'm meant to die, then just do enough damage to kill me. I hate waiting around to die.

The button to break out of the ice is also you healing/empowering button and is inconvenient. I can't remap the button to break out of ice either, so it's basically just death.

They also seem to be nerfing other items and refusing to nerf Stasis anymore.

I really don't like the idea of removing things from the game, or nerfing things to the ground. I just wish that other things were buffed instead.

I think that the Light based abilities need a rework to feel good to play against this new Dark based ability class. Make playing against them feel fair, incentivize me to want to purchase Beyond Light, dont' antagonize me by annoying me with how overpowered Stasis is to the point that I feel it's my only option for a good time in PvP.

Funnily enough, I also keep hearing about how PvE was nerfed a T O N. Why?
So on top of PvP just being TOO much of Stasis, now PvE is weak. If I purchased Beyond Light I know that at some point the content will be removed as well. A lot of the weapons that are relevant to it may also be removed, if it has any that are relevant to the expansion.

It's just unfortunate that these old things can't be reworked in an interesting enough way that you need to power cap armour to a certain level, and weapons need to be removed.

As I've FINALLY gotten to a power level that seems decent enough, it's become annoying that weapon stats don't show numbers.

The random rolls for stats on items is fine, but I feel that I just don't care about a lot of the loot. I get loot, I break it down, and I feel like this is just how it's been since I picked up this game again.

I wish that instead of a power level there was something else. Something more substantial that just brought everyone to a similar plateau, so I could just focus on getting certain stats. Everything is just so tedious in the game.

This game's grind is pretty crazy. Grind for the power level, then grind for good items, then grind for good stat items, grind for mods, grind for the resources to level up your armour, etc.

It takes a lot of dedication to the game, and is not very friendly to people that just don't have that much time. I've noticed this as one friend just doesn't get to dedicate enough time to the game so they fell behind in power level.

I dislike that our characters are this faceless thing that has no identity. I wish I could just wear the armour I like visually, and then change it's stats by doing something.

This facelessness is sort of enforced by being THE Guardian in the storyline, even though there's in-game elements that do say that you and your friends are guardians. We can ALL be THE Guardian. I wish that Bungie just embraced a multiplayer storyline.

Also would be nice if all my friends could play the same content with me at the same time. Being capped at 3 people to go into content is annoying.

The things that keep me coming back is WHEN I get the things that let me experiment with builds.

I can be an aggressive mobile warlock, or a support-ish warlock. These are the builds that I've had the most fun with. But it took a TON of work just to get to these things.

Support needs more support in the game, too. There's one support gun, and it's alright. But when it's the only option it feels a but lame.

There is some charm to the game if you're willing to put in incredible unfun work. Once day I hope this changes. I can not recommend this game, still. I wish my review could matter.

I love this game so much. I wish that Max Payne could return to it's roots and continue as a Noir game, as it did in the past.
The way Max talks, the content here, the tone. It's all so great.
The Pink Flamingo story, and additional details. It just all adds up in the end as you solve the mystery and put all the pieces together.

I do not recommend this game though, as the game doesn't work after download. You need to jerry rig some mods up just to get it to work. I had to dig really deep to find the information for this the first time around. As years go by, some other easier to access information has popped up, but it's still a bad way to launch a game.

If this game could get fixed, then I could recommend this.

I wish I could do a sideways thumb. It was a game, and it was interesting to play through, but it wasn't a Noir.
I don't understand why the change occurred.

I do like that Max's life continues, and there's more to his story. But it's just so different, and not in a way that fully makes sense.

The tone shift is strange.
