If you liked Euro Truck, Euro Truck 2, you'll flow quite naturally into this. Afterall, it is basically the same game as we all expected. Current mod community will have a quick port of their work. Lot's of plusses under the hood. All new scenery and models are like going on a vacation drive and seeing the country. For me, it's interesting to see how America gets boiled down to its esssentials from someone else's eyes.

Economy and pricing with the "World of Trucks" web will be nice. Arizona coming up. And getting rid of that 32-bit version for PC will make a big difference down the road.

Biggest pleasure so far is that parking is a lot harder! And if you think you're good at it, I suggest you make some night-time deliveries.

Down side:
* The fact that it is only the south west to start with (CA, NV, AZ) when I am sure everyone is itching to do some cross-country runs. I know I am.
* Only two licenses trucks (Peterbilt and Kenworth) so far. Of course, the modders are not under any such constraints.
But I have a lot of faith in SCS from their track record so I can accept not having everything at once.

Love this game, but it is because I already loved the other. The familiarity is comfortable. Now I have to go. I have a trucking company to build.
