Birth by Sleep is slept on. So far i dumped 60 hours into BBS and Id say this collection is worth is purely from that experience and then theres still 3 other games 2 of which are actually worth playing and im projected to do another 60 hours in each. Money for content on a mostly blind playthrough is definitely there. Even the games where theres gameplay the cutscenes can drag sometimes but its initially a game for kids so whatever. Very emotional friendship power of the heart type ♥♥♥♥. Honestly its really sweet and something you dont see very often anymore. First time players beware: its not shameful to play on normal mode the games are surprisingly brutal for a kids game (Except BBS that one is just spiky on proud). I also reccomend playing on a controller as these are essentially console ports. KBM seems to have an ok default keybind unlike lego game titles but i still prefer controller.

This game is a very niche title that only someone who is a starwars fan and an mmorpg fan simultaneously could look past the awful amount of microtransactions. Beyond that its actually a pretty interesting story driven game with a lot of content you dont have to pay for but will rub the idea of paying for things in your face constantly until you break down. A really metaish complaint i have about it is theres 6 crafting skills and you can only have one crafting skill per character but theres only 4 classes so i only felt inclined to make 4 characters, and its such a minor gripe but its infuriating nonetheless. like i can literally pay for a crystal better than 90% of the ones the artificer can make in the items shop that actually levels with me from level 1-max level and has almost max level item level on it.

Its an RTS but the games are 40 hours long and your opponent did some off camera mining. 10/10 game that then has mod support.

The only game in existence, I can genuinely say I enjoyed more in early access. Sometimes less is more.

I genuinely enjoy this game more than any game that came after it and i played 2 and the pre-sequel prior to playing this entry. The main quest is short and sweet (bit of a rushed ending IMHO like you literally rush through five quests and five areas at light speed), the people are interesting, the quests are fun, the story is kind of straightforward but the characters make up for it. when i first played borderlands 2 i really enjoyed the humor and people. playing borderlands 1 you realize 90% of the characters are recurring and flanderized from their original appearance. Jack is still a stand out they really turned the villian to an 11 and never managed to do it again. Steele is boring as all hell, nothing to even say she just tells you what shes doing and what you should be doing. The guns are interesting as they're more stat comparison based with a lot of very simple unique affects. It was nice because in other games certain manufacturers are just unplayable with certain weapons. Jakobs is garbage in this game, wouldnt play with them if you payed me to. The DLCS seemed to be the inspiration for 2s overt humor. It was nice tho because they were 40 minute after story fillers so it didnt take away from the atmosphere it was its own sphere. DLC was hit or miss. I personally disliked General Knoxx's DLC too much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ driving. Moxxis under dome is as God awful as everyone said. you do 3 arena slogs that are 40 minutes each with 5 rounds of 5 waves with no breaks, then she goes "oh wow i guess you can play with the big bois" and now you have to do 20 rounds of 5 waves which i can only assume will take literally an hour or two and they reset if you die. Total Cancer. Claptraps and neds zombie island were the real standouts. Funny, fun, and walkable. (♥♥♥♥ collection quests) Neds really stood out despite being probably the most simple of all the DLC, just a really good time walking around mercing zombies. Claptrap didnt overstay his welcome and was actually funny and interesting rather than being pegged as annoying by everyone and everything, they like actually have a use and are a whole species of robots. Overall i really enjoyed it and can see why it got a sequel. Shame I wasnt into it as much as this entry.

Dated beyond measure. Memed into oblivion. Do yourself a favor and pick a melee as a major skill no matter what class you play and give the free 2 hours a shot. If you cant stand the clunk it might not be for you. The journal and questing system is very much there but it wont hold your hand. You have to pay to use transportation, whether in gold or Magicka(mysticism). Despite not holding your hand if you're creative and a chad you can basically avoid quests entirely and just be an absolute scourge to everyone and everything. Solid game that gets passed over for being a certified jank fest. When you get immersed into the game, the controls and the graphics melt away and you're just an adventurer making their way in a hostile alien world.

The always subversive and complicated fromsoft releases another banger of a Soulslike. You die a lot, the beginning and end are a slog, the lore is super interesting but you gotta look for it. All of my time has been spent riding a horse smacking people with a big sword, I haven't been able to do this kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ since M&B bannerlord 8/10. -2 for the slogs, and locked frames.
