An excellent follow up to the first game. Everything feels so much more improved, and the new factions are so much more interesting than the original four present in the first game. The campaign is the best improvement overall though, in that it feels easier, but only because the campaign is much more open in that the mostly coastal map gives you a great many more options for movement and expansion, rather than in the first game when you'd find yourself surrounded with no easy ways out.

Overall, an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoyed the first game or any of the Total War series.
