I've been playing World of Warcraft for 12 years of my life. A game that will forever be in my heart.

But it's about time that another took it over as the #1 spot.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn provides a fantastic experience for you and any friends that'd you would like to play with. A fantastic system across the board, and always ever-improving. The development team behind this gem has been passionate, and it shows.

I would definitely advise people to play this. It's not redefining (most of the time when someone tries to redefine the MMO genre, it doesn't work) by any stretch. But what is there, is fantastic and I recommend anyone to come over to it if you're a WoW refugee, or just wanting to try a new MMO!

The good? Oh boy, I got the good!
The story is excellent. It's more of a singleplayer experience with that, but still - you get engaged in the story and attached to the characters there.

Combat is fun and engaging, though it can be slow at first (see below).

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SOUNDTRACK IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I love music. And when you put good music in a game? Hoh momma, you got me for life my guy!

Design, etc. Honestly? The design of a game is really what brings it up for me. I don't mind the near-anime style of this game, it's actually quite charming. From spell effects, to character design, to environmental design. Everything feels nice.

The classes are all diverse from each other. Everytime you play a new class, it's always different. Nothing feels like you're building a resource and then spending it - it's all fluid once you get it down.

The community. This one is a bit of a meme (i see u r/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥), but the community is actually a little more friendly than what you would receive in other MMOs I have found. People are really nice here!

There are bad sides to this games, however.
The combat can feel pretty slow and tedious at the start, sadly - this is due to how gameplay is later levels with weaving abilities. It gets faster.

Leveling at some points are slow - but not enough to really warrant a complaint. This is a silver lining, at some points you appreciate this.

The glamour system is a bit flawed, but still has good features.

All in all, it's a good time, and I've been getting a ton of enjoyment out of it. Keep up the good work!
