Picked this game up pretty cheap and i'm glad I did as it is a constant crash fest. As of August 1st 2025 the Nvidia DXGI ERROR DEVICE HUNG issue remains with no true fix. Game will constantly crash after a couple of minutes at random although I am nowhere near maxed out on my hardware. I've spent more time tonight trying to get this broken pos to work than I have playing it . In addition to this the VFX black box glitches are still ever present.

If you have an Nvidia card you should hold off until a true fix becomes available and even then don't pay more than $5.00 bucks for it . If you want to pick this up now try to grab it on Xbox or Playstation.

What can I say about this game that every other Skyrim fan hasn't? I first bought this game as a collectors edition on Xbox in 2011. Bought the remastered edition for Xbox one. Then Bethesda unlocked the world of modding on Xbox and I did everything i could do on a console and was like how deep does this rabbit hole go? do I bought it on steam too and i'm still playing it on 2025. I just taught myself how to do LOD generation .

This game and fallout 4 have become become permanent mainstays on my computer already at the ready for me to dive back in for one more time around. Does the game still have glitches? of course it does! it is a Bethesda title and this is old school Bethesda which just adds to the charm in some weird way.

I cannot tell you if you will like Skyrim. I can tell you that with over 2000 hours on Console and over 1100 hours on PC as of this posting that I love Skyrim and it's massive modding community that has kept this game relevant for so long.

IT IS 600x900 RESOLUTION WITH NO WAY TO CHANGE IT. IT LOOKS GAWD AWFUL. YOU ARE BETTER OFF PLAYING ON XBOX SADLY
