Button Tales is a nicely done Match-3 game, with bright colorful graphics and a unique twist - or should I say flip? However, even with this unique feature, the game play is too slow and too limiting (in "timed" mode). I kept wanting to like the game so I played until nearly half-way down the trail, restoring building, and unlocking all the power-ups. The flipping is just too tedious and I ended up switching to the "relaxed" mode, which I normally never do. Even that though did not change the game play into the more traditional Match-3.

Not to mention in "relaxed" mode you are still held to some unknown (not visible) timer in order to achieve 3 stars om a level.

I am going to recommend the game simply because the author made a great effort to add a new element of game play, but if you enjoy the "faster paced" Match-3 swapping, this game will quickly become boring.

You do not fly anything in this game. You move around the cursor to collect energy. It is not a bad game, it is just not what the game description claims. That description sounds more like their Asteroid Bounty Hunter. Marketing hype is one thing.... lying is another. Because they are attempting to mislead players I cannot recommend the game!

This is a lousy game. If you like this type of game, which I normally do, then check out Triple Town instead. Even from a bundle this is rotting fruit!

The Enigmatis series has always been one of the better hidden object game series available. This game specifically really ups the ante. Forget the lovely graphics and sounds, as many in this genre have that. What sets this game apart is the way the NPCs, challenges, and plot are all woven together into a immersive story that makes this game feel more "alive" than most other HOGs I've played.

The NPCs really add depth to the game with the interactions they have with you as you play through the story. If you like HOGs at all this one should be at the top of your list!

Tedious back and forth with no map. Pointless actions. There are better hidden object games out there for sure!

While this is not a long hidden object game (HOG), it also does not throw in completely inane steps designed simply to make the game appear longer like many HOGs tend to do. Instead this game was fun, with sharp, colorful graphics, nice voice acting, fitting sound effects and a good story. The entire game story flowed smoothly, and the puzzles were mostly right in line with moving that story forward. None of the puzzles felt like they were there merely to prolong the game play. This was an enjoyable way to spend an evening.

I will recommend this game to those who really enjoy HOGs, and do not mind the back and forth, the most inane and idiotic items being secured by passwords, elaborate locks, and wall safes, and who don't care about plot holes. I've played better HOGs than this, but I've played worse also.

This one was tedious at some points as in most cases there was no understanding of why I was doing the actions I was doing. The items found from the HOG scenes was not related to anything you searched for in the scene. That is after getting all items, none of which was a light bulb, you "find a light bulb" as the result. It just did not make sense.

Buy it in a bundle and it will be worth the price and effort.

Keys are spread out so that changing weapons or opening the store require you to remove your hand from the movement controls and it doesn't pause until you open the store leaving you vunerable. Not to mention a grainy screen that made it difficult to determine what to destroy, what to avoid, what to collect, etc. Poor execution. Even Galaga had a power and enemy list in the instructions.

This is an excellent adventure game that really exceeded my expectations. It is straight-forward, easy to understand, believeable story of using your wits to survive and escape the plaent you are marooned on. There is no pixel hunting, no filler puzzles, and no carzy "who would ever do that" moments.

Atmospheric sights and sounds. Limited back and forth to locations, none of which is designed merely to fill the time. It includes trading cards amd achievements if that matters to you. The only negative I found personally is that it is too short. I would have happiily player many more hours of this game if I could.

If you like adventures you will like this!

I did not find this game very enjoyable. Some of the hidden object scenes require you to find items that are just not visible enough to even identify what they are. For example, a dark black lens for a pair of sunglasses. It seemed needlessly tedious in some places. Right now there are many new HOGs being added to the store. You might find a beter game for just a little more than this one that will be much more fun to play.
