Honestly I purchased this game for the trading cards and because it was on fabulous Steam sale for 69 cents. I am a fan of real-life jigsaw puzzles, but this is not my normal computer game choice. I rationalized it by telling myself the wife would enjoy it.

In order to get my card drops I played the game, and I am not on puzzle 6 or 7. The interface is incredibly simple and refined to just what is necessary to play. The one annoying issue, which has already been lamented in many of the other reviews is the piece selection. It seems to have an issue with the Z-order and collision rectangles of the pieces when they are in close proximity. You will click on one piece but the game will select another.

That is the only complaint I have with this love little relaxation inducing game. For 69 cents you really cannot go wrong by adding this to your collection.

Half-Life 2 is iconic! I replayed the entire game recently with the graphics all maxed out and the game is still as beautiful as newer games! This is just a flat out fun game to play. No other way to say it.

The locations are varied, the atmosphere incredible, the details unbelievable, the action intense, the music perfectly suited to the mood and situation, and on and on. It breaks my heart that VALVe has not moved this franchise forward in years. One of the best, if not the best, FPS game I have ever played.

First, thanks to Steam's awesome discounts when a game is on sale I only paid $1 for this game. Based on that price this is a good game. However, as compared to other HOGs I have played - and my wife is a fan of HOGS via Big Fish Games - so I have played dozens of them.

This one is just not fun. There is something missing that I have not been able to identify yet. It has some interesting elements, such as visiting the same location in the past, which has been done before but not often. The location graphics are not bad, but as stated in some other reviews items are not always well defined. I end up grabbing something from a scene without having a clue what it is/was.

In reality I purchased this game for the trading cards. So if you enjoy trading and need more cards to feed that addiction, then for a $1, it is probably worth it. Good luck.

I am going to recommend the game based on the $1 price and the trading cards not the gameplay!

While I did not live in the old west, this game has what feels like an authentic Wild West environment. I love making my way through an old town full trying to make a jail break, with the ambient sounds of women hiding in their homes, chickens roaming around, being shot at by the barber on the balcony overhead. The game has some intense moments where you are being shot at Apache style and you have no idea which way to go.

There is an arcade mode for just straight up shooting against the clock, friends or just your own score.

The price is right (it is 75% off at the time of this review) so get gunning!

This is my first review on Steam, although I have written reviews on other services, but given that I will merely enumerate a few high-level points given there are probably a hundred better reviews already.

1) Combat is difficult on Normal, but with some thought and experience you can win, and win in style. Be patient, save right before each fight so that you can reload if you make a tactical mistake. Winning a battle in D:OS gives you a real sense of satisfaction.

2) Gold is difficult to come by early on if you do not steal. I am not a thief therefore I had to scrimp and save to obtain gold early on. That extra scroll, potion, armor, etc. can be key in the combat so make that early gold count.

3) I tend to be thrifty with single-use items like scrolls, health potions, etc. but again, to win a close battle and not lose any of your team members you may need to sacrifice going for damage and burn action points to quaff that potion.

The game is very in-depth, a good challenge, with nice graphics, humorous moments, and a nice mix of quests (I am only up to the Silverglen area so I cannot speak to the entirety of the game at this time.) The game world is large, and is an "open world" but the level of the enemies encountered make it linear to a degree in reality as you simply will not survive the fights if you veer too far off the path.
