I love this game, don't get me wrong. It is exactly as advertised, however, there are a a couple of critical bugs that ruin the game, and some players seem to have perfect luck and always draw the best cards out of their decks every turn.

Additionally there is a balance issue. The Japanese are super aggro and the game quickly gets old after getting it in the back every other turn.

Bugs:
- You can use buff cards on opponents (not that big a deal but why?)
- If you end your turn at the 20 second timeout, the timeout will continue and then you will lose a random card from the deck (even though you ended your turn)

Hi TrickyArmyMan,

Thank you for your review of KARDS and your valuable feedback; we definitely appreciate the time you took to write this review and to provide your input.

Regarding buffing enemy units: That is on purpose and has some useful application. For example, the TBF-1 Avenger[www.kards.com] destroys upon deployment a random unit that has at least 5 defense. So, if there are only enemy units with 4 or less defense, you buff one enemy unit and then use the Avenger to destroy this unit. Sure, that are advanced tactics - but exactly these little quirks and tactics are fun!

We keep an eye on the game balance and will tweak cards and units when needed. The most recent balance pass took place just a couple days ago. So yes, we constantly watch the game stats. However, aggressive decks should have a place in KARDS - as well as counters to it.
