This game is frustrating, Partially because its incredibly hard and partially because there are things in this game that make it hard to enjoy playing. I love souls like games and how hard this game is, The way that you have to parry, attack, dodge, and jump your way through your battles makes you feel an astounding sence of acomplishment after nearly every fight!

Where I became frustrated however is when I discovered that every death that you receive counts against you. The more you die the less likly you are to receive no punishment upon death (Another mechanic of the game, similar to the ring of sacrifice in DS1...) . I think this is a great mechanic! Truly I do! The problem I have is that the deaths from the very start of the game count towards this, If you die learning the controlls well your just going to have a harder time down the line for it. However anoying this is it would be acceptable if the game told you this was happening but it doesnt tell you until you get your first debuff, cutting your Unseen Aid chance in half right off the bat.

As far as I see it the game could have introduced this mechanic after the first boss, explaining it to you ingame and everything would be great! Instead this happened to me 3 hours into the game, Essentially making me want to restart to save myself the trouble. There are other issues with the gameplay that I have but nothing as big as this, Otherwise the game appears to be incrdibly polished and I am excited to play more in the future (After I go back and spend another 3 hours redoing my progress saving my deaths of course)

Ultimately I think the game is still worth a buy if you dig souls like games but you might want to lookup a starter tips video online as the game tells you about things as they happen and not before!
