The game itself is great, even supports cross play which is always amazing for playing with friends.

However the PC version is very poorly optimized. Getting about 55FPS average on 1080p, medium settings, and no ray tracing. I have a 3080 with a Ryzen 9 5900x and 32gb of ram. Its by no means unplayable, but should be better.
For some reason, no matter how high or low the settings are, the performance barely changes, if any. The only major difference is using frame generation of course, Or lowering the the resolution and up-scaling. However that's really a duct tape fix.

Also forcing you to pay money just to change your character/pet appearance is so greedy when I already paid $70 for the game.

If they can fix the performance then I'll change it to positive. Just a shame major game releases always have bad PC optimization.

Seriously though its a phenomenal game and if you want to try it then I highly recommend going in as blind as possible, you won't regret it.

I do Highly recommend playing it on PC as it was originally intended instead of playing the switch version, I obviously won't
spoil why but just know that it won't have the same kind of impact as the steam version if your thinking of buying it on switch. Your first play-though never feels the same as others, especially in this game. It's also cheaper on steam than switch.

Well worth the $10, truly amazing and is definitely one of those games that really sticks with you. There's a reason it has overwhelmingly positive reviews, just give it a shot.
