Early Access Review
as a person that never played the original loadout, this was a blast. let me start with the pros and cons for all you impatient readers.
+different, interesting enemy types such as a grenaider
+great, cartoony graphics
+good level and mission design (never feels repetitive)
+balanced leveling up system (will talk about that more later)
+great weaponcrafting system
+bug reporting and recommending a feature that's always answered for.
Note: these next complaints could be fixed later since this is still a beta

-store system doesn't have descriptions on items, or how much the level difference will be. which makes shopping weird and blind.
-in PVP, to keep fairness in the game, all players are boosted to level 20. how's that a bad thing? because it's completely unbalanced. (wait wat?). allow me to explain, every single weapon is completely overpowered. if you have a sniper or a slow weapon, you shall be wrecked. if you have a fully automatic gatling gun, you can die in only a few shots out of a 100 clip. everything is EXTREMELY overpowered that just makes it unfair and not fun. just a look from someone else and he can kill me instantly. but i can't do the same, because I have a sniper. It just feels like you either get a spammy, extremely fast overused weapon, or just die every few seconds.
-Bots on the player's team needs some work. They just charge into tons of enemies and die instantly like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiots. They also don't seem to respond to the grenaider's attacks. they either stand still and shoot at them while burning in blue fire, or simple roll into it (like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiots).

other than that, this game is simply amazing. The gameplay is fast paced and never feels dull.
+good level and mission designs: there are alot of missions, some take place in maps you've already played, but it never feels boring. every mission has it's difficulty and requirement. say for example, i'll play a mission that allows me to get rocket boots. the requirement for this mission is that I am unable to run or roll due to me being drunk, other missions have requirements such as: kill a brawler with melee attacks, heal or overheal your teammates for 500 hp total, get 3 kills with a turret, etc... The level design is simply great, the places don't look the same, there is alot of detail in the maps that just shows us how the developers cared for this game. There are multiple gamemodes, death snatch, domination, jackhammer, etc...
+leveling up system: the leveling up system is pretty good, all items have a specific level requirement. however, these items aren't different. for example, I can have a level 1 3x scope, and I can have a level 8 3x Scope. The difference between these are mostly the strength of your weapon, but if you get an uncommon or rare piece, it can affect other things. also, leveling up increases your melee strength.
+great weaponcrafting system: the weaponcrafting system is amazing, there are 4 types of guns, beam, rifle, pulse, and launcher. there are also ammo types such as heal, fire, slug, electricity. You can make a sniper rifle that heals people, you can make a remote control rocket that burns enemies, you can make rockets that turn into mines when they hit the ground and electricutes enemies, you can make an automatic pulse gun that shoots flaming, bouncing cannonballs and MUCH more! and the best thing about it is that you can buy these items in the shop for real dollars, or for blutes (in game cash you earn when playing). The weapon pieces have great prices, and aren't that expensive for blutes. also, items drop from enemies alot. so you'll likely have 3 items per game, and half the blutes you need to buy a rare piece of your liking. this game also has chests, that, like tf2, require real money to unlock. however i find these chests extremely useless. why should I pay for a key to some random items hoping i can get a remote control rocket piece if i can just go to the shop and buy it from the store with ingame money? probably because it's cheaper, but anyway, they are unnecessary since you are allowed to get whatever you want without the game slamming pay to win content in your face. Good devs are rare these days, but i sure as hell am glad I found these ones.
+bug reporting and feature recommendation: these devs are active, if you have a problem, they will drop everything and come help you, which is always great. (they helped me fix my black screen problem easily). you can also recommend a feature and they won't ignore you! which is also great.

overall this game is simply great for all you arena shooter fans, just grab a gun and start dominating!
