a simple fix for the crash that worked for me, try this instead of just waiting for the patch:
-open start menu
-search for "View advanced system settings"
-go to advanced tab
-under performance hit "settings"
-go to advanced tab
-under "virtual memory" hit "change"
-select your "D" volume or any other Volume that your game is installed on other than your SYSTEM DRIVE
IT'S IMPORTANT TO NOT DO IT FOR YOUR SYSTEM DRIVE
-hit custome size
-set initial size and maximum size "16384"
-hit ok on both screens
-test game
-profit

Other than the occasional crashing
