I am conflicted about this game. It looks nice, the music is ok, gameplay is good, but the negatives points are too annoying for me to leave a positive review.

Contact damage is dumb, unless the monster is made of acid, lava or is charging at you. Falling on the helmet of a monster should not make me take any damage, unless I fall from a high place. Some bosses will just touch you AND teleport on you causing you to get hit twice without them attacking. At some point you get this cool dash that unfortunately gets stopped by the smallest most insignificant bug because of contact damage. I am bigger, I am dashing, I am powered by some Heisenberg grade crystal energy, I should crush the bug.

Spikes that damages you when you touch them on the not pointy side is just terrible game development

1 gauntlet is the limit for me in a game, when a DLC is basically JUST gauntlets, there is no way that I will leave a positive review.

Graphic glitches under Linux in certain areas that makes the areas unplayable, the solution is to run the game under Proton, which is dumb because there is a linux port of the game.
