Honestly, this expansion has only grown better with time.

It is just as tough to learn as the base game, but is exceedingly rewarding once you learn the gameplay loops, as well as how to properly approach the stealth parts of it.
Stealthing bases and POIs aside, the DLC adds 2 very profitable routes to the game right off the bat, these being ground combat zones (accessible from any starport or surface port) and Exobiology (a ground based addition to Exploration).
It does still have bugs here and there, but they get removed fairly frequently.

Overall, I highly recommend it, as it has added a whole new side of atmosphere to the game.
