Beautiful and uplifting game! And great price compared to all the 80€ buggy game demos sold nowadays.

A game about managing a city that's close to extinction. You're in charge of research, building new infrastructure and taking hard desicions on what your community should behave like. The game is really hard imho, but it's a great challenge with many strategies that kept my thoughts revolving around the game even if I wasn't playing anymore.

I do recommend this game to everyone with a heart for managing and city builder sims and who's not easily thrown off by the difficulty.

Great game, really thought through. At times a bit lengthy and repetitive (well, that's obviously part of the game). But it sparked joy in me and entertained me, especially after all the clues come together.

If you decide to play it, don't spoil yourself. Start playing without reading any articles or watching any videos.

It melted my brain. I liked the puzzles and the idea of a third portal but found them a lot more difficult than regular portal puzzles. If you're into that, definitely play Portal Reloaded.

Such a great game that you can play at your own pace. Go and explore, if you feel like it, Progress the story, build your base. In the water as well as on land. Graphics are beautiful, gameplay is and keeps being interesting.

The sea truck is a great vehicle and I loved building, extending, configuring and driving it. In many aspects I liked "Below Zero" even more than the first part of the series. The story, the visuals, the huge map, amounts of creatures and places to explore ... everything really made me enjoy this game a lot. I barely experienced any bugs. And given the price tag of ~30€, I think it's an absolutely great game and great value.

The devs really put a lot of work in it. If you're into survival, exploration and base building type of games, play Subnautica!

Early Access Review
I finished this game after about an hour. The highest screen resolution is full hd (1920x1080) which was even outdated in 2018 when the game came out. Also it is capped at 30 fps which really hurt my eyes. The character movement is really ... bad. You can't run, jumping feels like as if you were stuck in pudding.

The few puzzles were quite entertaining but at the same time the rotation of the three dimensions felt a bit weird but you get used to it. The audio is very repetitive and quickly gets annoying.

Also the last puzzle was really hard compared to the few before. It took me half the play time to reach the final puzzle and the other half to finish the final puzzle.

I appreciate the idea behind the game but the state it is in doesn't really justify a recommendation.

Just finished playing The Medium and I really really enjoyed playing the game. It's not the typical type of horror game. The mood and scariness is similar to Bloober Team's other Game "Blair Witch" (which I also recommend you to play). While playing The Medium I often had a tense feeling in my stomach and could get scared easily, and that's where the game wants you.

The game introduces a really interesting mechanic with you playing in two worlds at the same time. It involves some (sometimes more, sometimes less) challenging puzzles. Besides that, your job is to find out what happened at Niwa. The game also does a great job of revealing the story piece by piece, often through some letters (or other written text), so be ready to read quite some texts.

Horror games often receive bad reviews and little attention, but to me, this game stands out and should be honored. You can see there's a lot of hard work in this game and with ever increasing amount of triple A titles being released in an unfinished state, I really enjoyed playing a bug free and enjoyable game. The playthrough took me about 10 hours, but I tend to be a rather slow player, often re-reading collectibles to better understand the connections.

So 10/10 I recommend this game.

Stray is a really beautiful and wholesome game with a quite novel and innovative gameplay. With the 7-8 hours of play time it is quite short and the time flies while playing. Recently I have been looking for more short and complete games, instead of huge open world games with unlimited sidequests etc. Sometimes less is more.

While some might disagree, I believe that the price of ~30€ is pretty much on point for what you get.

The game is really worth playing!

It's complicated!

First things first: I really liked this game. The puzzels were balanced quite well and made the best of the mostly repetitive mechanics. This game is a lot about perception and size manipulation, but it used this in a quite smart way. That way it didn't feel like you were doing the exact same thing over and over again.

The story that encompanies the puzzles was really nice and enjoyable, although very clichee. Admittedly, it was not very original, but it connected to me on an emotional layer and the two voice actors did a perfect job. It mostly sounded like I was actually listening to real conversations of real people and not actors.

Also it's a quite short game with about 3 hours, which I personally liked.

Now on to the bad stuff
The framerate seems to be capped at 60fps. There's no setting to change that. And while I can imagine where this comes from (rendering multiple layers of the same environment with objects interacting with it), I still think that my graphics card could have done better than 60fps. At least give us some way to disable frame limits. You can still put up a huge warning or so, but please let me change the frame rate.

Even worse than the framerate issue: The controls... This game is a lot about placing objects. I got so annoyed at times that I thought about quitting the game. Sometimes you're stuck while carrying an object around. Then you need to drop the object, reposition yourself and pick up the object again.
Sometimes picking up an object and dropping it in the same location won't work, too.
Or the fact that you can't look straight up in the air. That annoyed me so much. The controls were really the biggest turn down.

Also there have been some game breaking bugs which had me reload the last checkpoint. For such a short game I actually don't expect any game breaking bugs.

I still recommend this game, because of the great puzzles and the voice acting, but as long as the issues with the controls and the game breaking bugs exist, I can't recommend it for the "full" price which is about 17€ for me at the time of writing. Maybe get it during sale.
