Perfect game if you have 20 minutes and ran out of cringe compilations on youtube.

Early Access Review
Great game, the mixed reviews are because the servers didnt work on release for a few days and people being butthurt after their first pvp experience.

Content updates and Fixes are regular, if you like survival pvp like rust this is a safe buy.

Servers crash every day, the story is pointless and the game is completely unchallenging

I am mad at how arbitrary the dialogue options are, especially when combining evidence against lies you can easily negate all progress you made in a mission by picking (what the game considers) the wrong evidence to counter a lie. It can be as extreme as having identified several stolen items in your clue list individually but when you need to prove that the dude is lying about not being a robber you can only pick one of the items (which the developers intended you to pick), picking any of the other clues that point to the same thing will result in non reversible failure (even though they would logically all point out the lie) as if you picked your nose for the entire mission and got to the end without any evidence.

A huge oversight which can take your immersion out of the otherwise really great gameplay/storytelling.

Random disconnects in multiplayer after a few seconds of gameplay because the netcode is extremely sensitive.
Been like this since release 5 years ago but the Devs are not interested in fixing it.

-Start as a worthless slave/hobo.
-Get experienced by getting your head bashed in repeatedly
-Sell loot and get some cats (money)
-Recruit other hobos
-build a base with farms and mines for steady income and research
-Scavange rare blueprints from old ruins
-more head bashing but in your base
-start actually winning some fights
-expand/upgrade the base
-get creative and leave your mark on the world

I have re visited the game during its development so I have a bit more Playtime than you need to finish it which should be around 30 Hours (mostly exploration and a bit of grind).

The early game is exciting as there are a ton of things to explore, craft, gather and creature to be scared of.

The mid game still feels the same way as you get your first vehicle to dive deeper into the unknown which gets more dangerous dark and scary.

But once you built all vehicles you quickly enter the late game. You have learned how the game works, built a base to secure food and water supply and unlocked most recipes. And yet the game does not get more difficult to counter your advancement somehow, nor does the story unfold enough to be Interesting. building the "last vehicle" is a perfect example of this. you just gather resources you have gathered before in biomes you have visited before that didn't change since the early game at all except that you flash trough them as you know exactly what to look for.

to sum the endgame up it is like playing an exploration game where you have already explored everything and the story doesn't help that as its a bit underwhelming.

All in all the game is pretty enjoyable to play for a dozen hours or more but don't expect a great ending

NS2 is a PVP shooter unlike anything you have seen.
It doesn't need recoil and spread to make shooting an enjoyable challenge as marine.
As Alien you can dodge bullets like neo or stealthily surprise attack an unsuspecting marine from above
both sides are a real test of your reflexes and mindplay
and if you just want to manage everything you can play Commander, place buildings, unlock weapons and skills: you control how your team should play.

Aliens and Marines have dozends of skills and classes that change the way you play dramatically
become a swift winged beast or a rhino like killng machine, grab a jetpack and shotgun and never miss a shot in the heat of battle or control a mech walker with huge guns and armor.
or just support your team with heals, repairs, constructing or building smaller support structures without needing to command.
There are many ways to individualise your playstyle

The game is to this day being patched and balanced by people from the Community, so it is a very bug free and fair experience (if your teams have comparable gameplay experience of course).
if you are not sure if the game is for you, you should mark it for later, it has been on -75% sale quite often so far. and cheap keys from sales are being sold on other sites as well.
