The Combat from the Trailer above is probably recorded in LAN, if you play on their official servers everyone is teleporting around, people also design their characters as small as possible to further exploit this lagfest combat,
Community servers are not much different usually, its because the netcode is ♥♥♥♥.

The Game has some Hackers even thought they have anticheat implemented

and lastly there is some weird mouse acceleration which cant be turned off, this really makes it harder to hit with ranged weapons to the point that absolutely nobody uses them.

The Campaign is what sells this game, like any other homeworld title. This time it still has the homeworld feel but after about half of the campaign the missions start to play out kind of the same. The story has no really interesting twist or additions to the homeworld lore, all you hear is refernces to homeworld 1-2 (the entire ending scene and fight is actually only referencing homeworld 1 so nothing new even there).
But I enjoyed it enough to finish it already so I guess its not THAT bad if you are a fan of the series.

If you want to play the campaign and then quit the game after about 8-9 hours you are cleared to proceed

if you want to continue playing online after, well... thats another story

It freezes every time someones ping is above 30 or something "waiting for player"
and if you ignore the constant stop and go motion gameplay for about 15 minutes it will just say "the game was shut down because of a desync, bye bye" and well it ends the game after that.

The Gameplay has been enjoyable so far BUT

on lowest settings the games graphics look like from the year 2000 and still dont get over 40 fps most of the time
(yes that has still very noticable input lag, especially when aiming)
on highest settings its 5 fps ;)

Gpu: Nvidia GTX 680
Cpu: I7 4770
Ram: 16 gb

so if you dont have a much faster PC you should wait a few weeks until the game is much more omptimized.

I can't talk about multiplayer yet, since all 39 servers are full 70/70 players

They realised that nobody supports their new kickstarter if they don't finish this game so they did just that :)

"Weekly updates" Thats what they said, the first week there was actually a hotfix. since then (30.-31. may) No update was released and all we heard on the forums was that they had to move out of their office (probably into vacation).
Also many things in the trailers are not even in the game at all.

Please don't buy until they start updating again because currently its looking like a mighty hoax
