It’s honestly infuriating that a game with this much potential is being held back by such atrocious optimization. It’s unacceptable that in 2025, a title like this runs so poorly across all platforms. This should be a priority, yet it feels completely ignored.

I actually think the core gameplay is great. The combat feels smoother and more enjoyable than Monster Hunter: World, even if it leans a bit more casual. I really want to play it more. But the fact that all six of my friends who played World can’t even run this properly is beyond frustrating.

I'm pretty laid-back when it comes to game mechanics—I enjoy the weapons and I’m not even bothered by the content drought everyone mentions. The problem is, I can’t even get far enough to hit the drought. I literally have no one to play with until (or if) they fix the performance issues.

Capcom’s higher-ups seriously need to get their heads out of their own asses and deliver a finished product. This half-baked release is insulting to fans who want to support and enjoy the game.

New World is a good game, the potential for this game to be great is very likely. First off, I'm in a high populated world and I have not had queue issues, playing the game in the morning guarantees I get in, if I play during it's most busy time it's just about an hour wait, which I have no problem doing. The main body of my review will not worry about queue times, I'm focused on the game, it's normal that MMO's have server issues during the first few weeks and the New World developers are working on it.

The Good:
Crafting and gathering is very robust and addicting. It's fleshed out, each gathering and profession has their own levels. You can easily become self reliant with crafted tools, weapons, armor, food and much more.
Combat feels unique. It has a souls like combat system, allowing for free movement, blocking, dodging during combat. Some weapons further expand upon combat, providing more mobility options, ranged optins and crowd control options.
Player vs Player is pretty good. Scaling might still need a little more tweaking but PVP has been enjoyable, specifically the open world pvp. Not everyone will like it so it's a plus side that it's optional!
The World is amazing! Beautiful Aesthetics in this game. The towns, certain areas, forests, many places showcase great design and lovely aesthetics.

The Bad:
Quests structure is boring. Side quests and many main quests are very same-y and repetitive. It usually revolves to go to this area, kill or collect a certain number of items, then return. It's not horrid, just very uninspired.
The Narrative is uninteresting. I think the way they present their story in the main quest makes it hard to follow along. Then again, there is not much of a story there to begin with. Voice acting is Okay, but most characters don't seem to hook me. I think they should adopt cutscenes in the main quest.
Running, running, and running. Did I mention running? Travel is very slow, kind of wish there was a sprint button. Teleportation spots alleviate this a little, but you have to use a valuable resource to travel. I'm sure this will be fixed in the future with mounts.
Lack of difficulty. Fighting enemies are easy, not really many mechanics when it comes to fighting. Bosses are similar, they just have more health and hit harder, or throw more attacks out. Most of my deaths in this game come from artificial difficulty such as being over-runned by enemies, getting stuck on a wall with multiple enemies, the camera betraying me, and being stun locked by multiple enemies. In time they should flesh combat out just a little bit more to avoid these nonsensical deaths.

Conclusion:
The good easily outweighs the bad! Most MMO's start off small and work their way up and Amazon Games has shown that they will be constantly updating and supporting the game, fixing bugs and issues, moderating the game, and adding features. I'm really excited for this games future, it's such a solid fun game. Only 40 dollars for hundreds of hours of fun game time with no subscription!? Insane! I give this game an 8/10!

Early Access Review
Swords of Gurrah is very unique and ambitious in the sense that this game tries it's hardest to be many things: competitive, casual, fun. I truly think that this game tries to mix up all of those words into a master piece of a sword fighting VR experience. So, what is swords of Gurrah?

Swords of Gurrah is a first person sword fighting VR (Virtual Reality) game with heavy emphasis on multiplayer pvp(player vs player) combat. The game also features some pve (Player vs Environment) aspects.

The premise of the combat is to defeat your opponent using Futuristic/Sci-fi like weapons which come in many different shapes and sizes all of which Shatter/Dematerialize after hitting or being blocked by an opponent, which it then rematerializes after a few seconds and allows you to attack again. This form of fighting makes fights more strategized and less random, just swinging your weapon rampantly won't get you far in this game.

The game hosts an impressive range of multiplayer gamemodes. Capture the flag, Team slayer, Arena and many more. It even has some Pve modes, where you fight off against npc (Non playable characters)

My overall experiences with the game have been quite enjoyable. With the in game voice chat, I've already had some laughs and epic battle moments during this release with new players! Of course there can be a bug there an exploit there, maybe even a crash after playing for a bit, but the big point is nothing is game breaking and the core element of this game are great.

At the end of the day, this is still an early access indie game, with a huge potential. In it's current state I have had many hours of fun! The Devster team is so passionate about this game, they don't ignore their users. They listen to user requests and bug reports and they will continue improving upon the game until it's the best VR PVP/PVE sword fighting game ever!

I give this game an 8/10. With a 18 dollar price this game is steal and a must have for VR enthusiasts, I'm actually gonna see if I can purchase some extra copies and do some giveaways of this game just to further support the creators later on.

I knew I should've been cautious when I saw that Capcom was releasing another full remake of a classic resident evil game a year after they had just remade resident evil 2. To me, this game seems like a very water downed attempt to recreate the original game, there just isn't enough innovation here this time for me. So let's get down to why I can't recommend this game right now.

This game is overpriced, the amount of content in this is very laughable for a full 60 dollar Triple-A game. I'm usually a very slow gamer, I take my time, backtrack a lot. I beat this game in 7 hours. Now 7 hours isn't so bad. But the average completion time is around 4 to 5 hours!? And guess what, it hardly has any replay value at all. Aside from getting different costumes on characters and getting every achievement I don't see a reason to play this again.

The game hardly innovates it's mechanics. Really this just feels like Resident evil 2 remake but you can dodge, and sometimes dodging will work and it won't work, it's very finnicky. If you get hit be prepared to wait out an animation and tap the mouse button to take less damage. They even added some quick time events to this game, they're easy to pull off but sometimes it's confusing on how you need to execute them, do I tap the button or do I hold it?! I feel this game takes a lot of assets from resident evil 2, making this game feel lazier in the long run when you come across familiar looking areas.

It's not all bad, there are some really good scenes in this game and sweet third person over the shoulder gun-play. Some of the story elements are even pretty good also. The environments, lighting and character models are fantastic.

In conclusion, if this game was a 25 dollar or 30 dollar expansion to resident evil 2 remake, this game would be pretty good! But at its current Triple-A retail price, I would advise waiting for a sale to happen. It's a decent game with not enough game to it. I rate this game a 6/10

I'm not counting resident evil resistance in this review because at the time of buying this game I had no clue it came with resident evil resistance. Plus It's a whole separate download. They need to update the store page and include Resident evil resistance in the title of the product so buyers do not get confused. I bought this purely thinking I was only getting one game, resident evil 3, because of the misleading title on the store page.

An insanely detailed open world that runs buttery smooth on many systems. Metal Gear games never disappoint, there is so much innovation and so many small details. This game is definitely worth it's price 100%!
