Headliner plays in a similar vein to Papers Please, but with a different angle where you are a newspaper editor shaping the opinion of the masses. It does this in a really simplistic but rewarding fashion, where you are at your desk approving and blocking article from being published.

Controlling content is a really interesting and fun dynamic, as every choice feels important. The game does a great job of reinforcing this through the sequences where you get to see the effects of your editorialisation in the streets on the way home. I had two playthroughs where I tried to be biased to both sides of the same topic, and you really do get a feel for the game's world being shaped. I can see that there could be a really interesting debate or conversation after playing this game, it was a lot of fun and covered some really interesting ideas which are really relevant to our world's media landscape.

I'd recommended if you like games with some replayability and choice, and want a break from more fast-paced games. I managed to speed through my second play-through in about 20-30 minutes, so it can be a quick one to go through if you're after a quick way to kill some time.
