In it's current state, Origins is horrible. Here's why:

First off, the quality. It isn't upscaled in something like Nearest Neighbour (used to upscale pixel art properly) and the games just look blurry. Not the biggest deal, but for claiming that these are in "high resolution" is a straight up lie.

The physics are somehow worse than on the mobile ports (especially the dropdash). I'm not saying the physics in the mobile versions are bad, they're good. But they somehow ruined them while copy pasting them into this collection.

The arrow keys in the default and custom controls are apparently used for up, down, left and right, however they only work in the menus (not in-game), and aren't rebindable either.

The Sonic 3K Carnival Night, Icecap, Launch Base and the Super Sonic music. I have nothing else to say besides, just use the original prototype music instead of having a tie-in with Sonic 4: Episode III, holy hell.

Now for the thing that everyone has been complaining about: Denuvo DRM. It really slows down the speed the game, ironic for a Sonic game. And it also affects Laptop players greatly due to the DRM destroying SSDs. Just use Steam DRM like any normal company.

Technical issues:
- The game uses your integrated graphics card, something a game shouldn't do at all. It slows the game down. Again, ironic for a Sonic game.
- The collection uses 2 game engines. Using both the Hedgehog Engine (Used in games like Generations and Unleashed, here used for the menus and 3D models) and Retro engine (Used for the mobile remakes and Mania, here used for S1, 2, CD and 3K) is a really bad idea, and is even useless, considering that Retro engine CAN render 3D models already, and the menu causes lag. I think this is also why the game is 7 GB in size. Just use a Data.rsdk file again.

Minor issues:
- There's audio delay
- There's button delay
- The default button controls are terrible (You literally got them right in Mania, how the hell do you mess up 5 years later?)
- The options menu is in the museum, which is a stupid decision
- The game starts in fullscreen (Again, you got this right in Mania by starting it in windowed)

Thanks Sonic Team.

TLDR; A bunch of minor issues are in the game, but when added up they ruin the game experience. Play S1 Forever, S2 Absolute, SCD Restored and S3 AIR until they fix already good ports that they somehow ruined. Still sucks btw.
