Pros:
-Gameplay is smooth, fun, and satisfying. A great mingling of the combat bits and detective bits, with a stealth system that encourages you to be creative while still leaving you the option of going loud.
-A well constructed plot and characters. The "Gotham's most wanted" system gives you the feel of what it's like to be batman as you follow individual plot lines to catch all the villains and eventually lock them up one at a time.
-Sufficient challenge. The game won't give you an easy ride if you play it on the harder difficulties. Especially since completing all the sidequests is required to complete the game fully. It gives the player a lot to do and makes them constantly have to think about their tactics and approach.

Cons:
-The batmobile can be very hard to control. Some of the vehicle combat sections are extremely frustrating as a result and slightly detract from the smoothness of the gameplay.
-Apparently some people have had trouble running this game on their PC. It worked perfectly for me all the way through, but I fear many of the bad reviews on steam are in reflection of the technical difficulties, not the game itself.
-You probably need to be familiar with Batman comic book lore in order to understand bits of the plot. Nothing major, but some slight details are there that only hardcore fans will get. Although in some ways I feel this is a pro, not a con, because it means you should read the comics, and the comics are awesome :P

Great game! Top notch combat, an excellent plot, well designed city, and it all feels so very much like batman! Don't be put off by what people say about the PC problems, although it might be wise to wait until WB have smoothed things out before buying.
