This game will please the broader audience that enjoys the meta "self aware character goes crazy" genre, and the likely smaller audience that enjoys games related to mental health/social interactions/psychology.
If you want to learn more about the characters without everything going horribly wrong due to a self aware character having an existential crisis and having near full control over the code of the world they reside in, I'd STRONGLY recommend purchasing DDLC Plus, I really enjoyed it and it made me cry.
