Interesting graphical style, combat that flows incredibly well with different classes and skill trees, and very few serious moments in the plot. Performance is under par, unable to run 4K reliably on a 980 Ti/i7 6700K, but otherwise no issues found. RPG elements are useful and allow for more customization than a straight-up shooter. Co-op also works well with friends at similar character levels, but not so much for characters at extremely different levels. Variety and discovery to be found in every corner of the game world.

I expected this game to be a bit unusual, and probably just not my type of thing. Little did I know that I'd be playing it until 3:00 in the morning most nights that month. It's an older game, but if you want a Civilization experience that is immersive and addicting, you can't go wrong with this one.

The action is impeccable. After countless playthroughs of the singleplayer, I have to recommend this game. If you are looking for depth of characters and story, don't buy DOOM. If you want to play a video game, potentially the best video game released in 2016, I beg you to purchase this game. And use the pump shotgun, it's the only weapon worth anything for most of the game.

I've played through this game countless times, experienced every section the game has to offer. I can confidently say that not buying Dishonored, especially when it's so cheap, is a crime against humanity itself. It has an amount of depth that is almost nonexistent among games of today, and has a plot that lacks in some areas but that exposes every detail of the world you live in. The Empire of the Isles comes to life with plague-ridden districts, corrupt guards and officials, and lawyers seeking to profit from the Rat Plague. As Corvo Attano, you can sneak through with a somewhat basic stealth system, or you can tear apart your foes, pistol in one hand, sword in the other. It offers a lethal/non-lethal choice system in the "chaos" rating which also takes into consideration the amount of times you were detected. This system has been criticized due to its black and white nature; the game's 3 endings are very clearly scolding you, reveling in your glorious destruction, or declaring you a hero. The Outsider's Powers add a good amount of choice without being too overpowered, and the game levels are designed so as to make using them necessary in some cases to avoid detection. Over all, the game is a stealth/action shooter that offers an incredible amount of content and world-building, and has become my favorite game of all time, with the possible exception of Dishonored 2. Oh, and the dialogue is hilariously awful at some points. Go get Dishonored.

Very good game. I will begin by addressing the performance issues, however. And this review is coming from someone who idolizes the first game, Dishonored.

My specs: Zotac GTX 980 Ti Amp! Edition, 8GB DDR3, running on a 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM HDD, and an i5-4460. The game at first suffered low performance, sometimes reaching 25 FPS. In the past week, though, I have not noticed significant framerate drops, even when I increased the graphical quality in the menu. Performance issues have been fixed for me, and I can usually hit 60 FPS.

The game is definitely not a disappointment. The main issues noted with Dishonored- a simple and easy stealth system, a lack of nonlethal options, and awful dialogue- have been fixed. The characters have more connections than in the previous game, and I found myself very saddened near the end of the game in a particular scene. The stealth system has been made more difficult; you can no longer safely lean around a corner and remain unseen. This is especially noticeable when you play without any supernatural powers- it's very challenging to stay undetected. The nonlethal style has been made easier to accommodate this, though, and you can execute a drop-assassination style knockout as well as choking enemies in combat. So the low chaos side has been well-developed and improved in many ways. The two characters have distinct comments, very different kill animations, and very different powers. With the new skill-tree-type system for powers, runes are more abundant but it is still not possibly to fully upgrade every power. There are many new choices for a playthrough of this type.
In general, if you liked Dishonored, you will enjoy Dishonored 2. Every bad point of the first game has been changed now to be made much more entertaining, and it has suffered very little simplification.

it has incredible gunplay
like really good guns
if they added this gunplay into new vegas and left everything else i would only play new vegas
they did however remove a lot of character depth and control which i don't mind because at the end of the day im playing this for guns

This game takes what a casual SimCity player would call the main issues and annihilates them. It also adds some better traffic options like pedestrian paths and roundabouts. In general, it's like the dream of someone who had to put up with the newest SimCity launch. Beautiful game.

An adventure of epic proportion. In Game Dev Tycoon, play as the master pianist Jiev Cherchlov as you travel through the icy land of Tycoonia. You will use the extremely amazingly designed mechanics to your advantage as you play this game. I recommend using the FlameThrowX2134 as a beginner.

This game got and then cost me a girlfriend. Let me tell you the story.
I was sitting here in Starbucks, when a girl walked up and saw that I was playing Goat Sim on my laptop. She ran over and said "Oh, can I play? I love this game!" I let her play and she said "Wow, you have good taste in games," seeing my game library. She immediately changed to a flirty, seductive tone of voice. She beckoned for me to follow her into an amazing place: the bathroom. When we entered, she said "Oh, you're amazing... but there's one thing I need." "What?" "I need about tree fiddy." Then I realized that she was a 50 foot tall skyscraper from the paleolithic era!

The storyline was immersive and filled with great detail. The mechanics are perfectly done and the gameplay keeps you interested at all times. Explore Rapture as Jack, a wanderer through this foreign land. Modify your genetics and more in BioShock!
