I must say that this is one of my favourite Grand Strategy games of all times. The levie mechanic allows my dumb brain to be viable without worrying about building troops and the RPG mechanics make me really feel for every life I live in this game. Educational and entertaining for people interested in medieval politics or political geography.

Every story this game tells is glorious and unique. In one game I became a religious maniac with a god complex who struggles with the choose between letting your son join a holy order or securing the succession while in another I played as a warlock High queen that went from a petty queen to uniting all of Ireland and Wales under her rule and died as the high priestess of Satan having regular orgies at her 90th year.
And sometimes even npcs can have glorious stories, like the Hindu conqueror Jagdeva the great of Jagdevaia from house Jagdevid. Who grew up learning about the Mediterranean from a Greek servant that raised him as her own, after which he slew a mighty beast and gather an army of followers, with who he ended up conquering Italy, the coast of Barbary, and parts of Greece, and eventually died by just being sawed in half in some way or another. and this all happened while I was distracted in Ethiopia.

All in all a great game for people who like RPG's, medieval settings, super weird ♥♥♥♥, and letting in their inner crusader.
