The first Half-Life, changed the way people play First-Person Shooters, and overall... video games in general. It's very rare when the sequel can not only do the exact same thing, but OUTDO it's predesessor. Half-Life 2 is one of (if not the) best game ever made.

The ending is a mind-♥♥♥♥.

You'd have a higher chance of training an autistic child to act socially normal than getting this game to work on your computer.

You may succeed eventually, but once you do, only then do you realize that this game sucks harder than the time you had to take to train your autistic side-kick.

Only thing I can recommend is if your trying out this game for gameplay, don't bother. The gameplay doesn't really matter anymore, ITS ALL ABOUT THE HATS!!!!!!

Dark, stunning, unique, and awe-inspiring. Without a doubt, this is the most immersive story I have ever played in a video game.

Video games are rarely original anymore. But when you finally come across one that has an orignal story, its like a breath of fresh air. This game is so immersive, and amazing that you actually feel like you ARE the protagonist. Every choice, changes the story in a different way.

Being an avid Deus Ex fan since the first game, I have to admit that I actually enjoyed this one the best out of the whole series. It sets up the events of Deus Ex 1 very well, while incorperating its own, intuative story along perfectly.

Inconclusion, if you can only afford one game this year, get this one. Modern Warefare 3, and BattleField 3 may sell a lot of copies, but they will never be able to give you the same about of satisfaction, and enjoyment that this game will.

I can guarentee that people will be talking about this game for a very, long time.
