👍 The Good: The Core Survival

The actual survival mechanics—crafting and staying alive against the elements—are fantastic and engaging.

👎 The Bad: Everything Else

Unfortunately, the fun of survival is completely undermined by broken and unbalanced systems.

Broken NPC Spawns: New armed NPCs are a nightmare. They silently spawn right on top of you and instantly headshot you with flawless aimbot precision. It doesn't matter where you are or what you're doing.

Unrewarding Enemies: Mechs are ridiculously OP, and the human NPCs are just bullet sponges that offer zero valuable loot, making fights feel like a waste of resources.

Brutal Imbalance: The motto of the game is "Too Hard to Live, Too Easy to Die." I went through 10 full lives and couldn't even piece together a single working gun from the loot of all my runs combined.

Empty World, Broken Travel: The map is huge, but getting around is a nightmare. All the vehicles are broken, so you're forced to do quests for NPCs located in the middle of nowhere, miles away from any decent loot spots.

The Grind is Real: Everything takes forever. Looting is slow, items weigh a ton, and your inventory is tiny. You spend more time managing tedious inventory and constant hunger/thirst meters than actually playing the game.

The game has a solid foundation, but it's buried under layers of frustration. Until the developers seriously rebalance the core gameplay systems, I can't recommend it. Every system feels like it's actively working against the player, not with them.

How there's 250 devs working on this still, shame.....

Despite its shortcomings, this is the best no man's skyrim we could have asked for. Some of the storylines are really long and cool, main quest not so much.
I do hope they keep improving the game, heres some issues:

- serious UI QoL issues for a game of this size:

Why u can't make and name a ship from zero?
Why no sorting table-like inventory?
Why isnt cargo hold loot per ship or why they are moving all your ships loot to inferior ships? 4000/800 makes my blood boil.
Why cant they keep the interior "decoration items dropped items" when editing your ship? Same reason they arent allowing us to customize the ships interior like a base?
Editor(s) camera and snapping sucks a********

- keybinds are straight out of mars, but u can get used.
- im forced to run the desktop in 1080p cause game resolution support just sucks ass or its doing something funky slow on native 4k
- no fullscreen support, dlss removed because of amd deal.
- so many other QoL issues with the graphics configs
- parts of the game are not well optimized, like sometimes being in orbit with nothing causes fps dip or wattage spike compared to other more populated areas. Same for some UIs, like character creation.

This game is a masterpiece if you are in the right mood for Aliens franchise.
The mechanics of the alien itself can get a bit slow paced and boring at times, with or without weapons, but other than that, the sound fx, music, atmosphere, graphics, performance are all top notch.
If this game doesnt freeze your soul with terror of the alien, you are already dead and some people claim thats the bad ending.

Juno is def better than KSP2, on par with KSP1 but has more features like customizable parts and planets.
With the devs still working on it, hoping they fix some of its short comings like minor ui and editor parts (attachment) inconsistencies, mostly quality of life.

Really interesting and unique concept. Masterfully executed. Flawless game.
10 hour survival and base building
10 hour linear story
endless base building and exploration at the end.
