Townseek is a casual laid-back game centered around a mechanic that I've never really seen before. It's all about trading. Sure, other games have trading as a mechanic, but not the central thing that the whole gameplay loop centers around. You gain items from trading with towns, and said items then can sell for higher or lower at other towns. You can also fish, mine, forage, and farm items as well.

It's a great "podcast" game, to have something playing in the background or on a second monitor while you chill out and earn some coins and complete the journal. The cherry on top is the absolutely incredible art and references spread around the map.

I am a little biased, I've been acquainted with the developers for quite a few years now, but Townseek is genuinely a unique game that I'm really looking forward to. The demo has probably 1-3ish hours of content depending on if you're a completionist or not, a nice little chunk to see if you vibe with the game or not. I personally highly recommend everyone at least give it a shot if you like the art from the trailer and pictures.
