just the fact that toby is only charging for 4 chapters only as of right now, when he could easily just charge full price with the reputation he has - and if you buy now, the latter chapters are free updates..

Honestly blew my expectations away. I've been using it for half a year now daily and haven't ran into any deal-breaking issues, which is extremely impressive for software of this caliber. Easily worth the price.

I am updating my review of this game after the many years since Overwatch 2 launch.. I still think the way blizzard handled the launch of this game is unforgivable, and is deffo the reason why it's struggling to get as much interest/cultural presence as it once held.

However, I also have to recognize the effort the overwatch team has put into making a genuinely fun to play game, that does feel better to play than overwatch 1 did at any point in it's life, with consistent content updates, new gamemodes that people play regularly (Stadium) and mainly making the lootbox system from OW1 be play to earn only, with no predatory purchase to gamble for skins like the first game had. Coupled with the very generous battlepass that gives 600 free currency per season (every couple of months), this game is one of the more generous F2P competitive games out there (looking at you League of Legends).

If blizzard just decided to go this route for OW1 without announcing the PvE, and without the huge content drought that game experienced, without the broken promises - the game would be looked at in a MUCH different light than it is now.

At the moment, the game is enjoyable to play, with no major issues plaguing it like it had constantly during OW1, and for anyone willing to just give the game a shot, I honestly recommend trying it, even if you're jaded by blizzard, you don't need to support them by spending any money for the cosmetics.

The first encounter of the game is fighting your own sexuality as Zagreus appears on screen.
