Absolutely love the aesthetic but the combat is so clunky it feels unplayable.

7/10 metroidvania. Pros: Awesome music, very cool bosses, the characters look and his moves amused me all the time and fun maps. Cons: Hard checkpointing, too many endings for me to care to 100% it, the wall jump is janky.

Best game. Join the cult.

My first auto battler and I am really liking it. Easy to learn and plays great. Now achievement hunting!

Absolutely loved it.

Two Bosses Odon and Eviterno took the fun out of the game for me. I love a challenge but these two fights are beyond garbage.

The cut scenes/dialogue not being skippable in them makes you rage even harder. I also found some gated mob fights were harder than some of the bosses.

The only fun parts really were the exploration, using the different weapons for different puzzles and side quests. I usually find my fun in doing the 100% achievements but I'm quitting at Eviterno after hours of trying. Ruined the game.

I heard so many bad things about Surge 1. I had tried it briefly too a while back and didn't like it either. I started with 2 this time and loved it. It is definitely much better and smoother than 1. The exploration was less frustrating, clunky and kept me more interested. I ended up finishing 2 and I'm really glad I gave it a chance. Definitely grab this one on a sale and give it a go.

Loved the art style and the combat was great. Some boss fights were brutal. but very satisfying to get past them. Definitely recommend it if you like a challenge.

This game is excellent fun. Loved going for the 100% achievements too with the boss rush modes. It was challenging but very satisfying. I hope there is a sequel.

One of my favourite games ever. Highly recommend it. The music, combat and content is fantastic. I also did the 100% achievements, which are doable and fun. 10/10 and cannot wait for the second one!
