requires a LOT of post-install setup using community resources, (like, not even any music), but once you get everything in order, it is definitely worth a play. Post-Bethesda-ification Note: This review is only valid if you're not using the "remastered" version.

Works, I suppose. Matchmaking is still (somewhat) $hit, party system is jank as all he!! and playing co-op is a sisyphean ordeal with the constant disconnects and desyncs. Still Halo though.

do you want to get into ground battles? can whatever youre playing answer the five billion germans around every corner? no? well alright, go fück yourself! do you want to get into air battles? watch out for the five billion smurfing ässhäts with titles that stretch across your screen sniping out your pilot from half the map away! want to get into naval? get ready for the riveting gameplay provided by fifteen bots sitting at spawn, because no-one plays naval! dont play this game. ever. not that you can half the time.

"i would rather be playing half-life" the game, imho. if youre not a hyperautist about half-life youll enjoy it tho

A damn solid game (provided *excessive* modding), but runs like sh!t on any cpu that doesn't have a clockspeed outpacing sound. Still unfortunately the best game of its kind in current year.
